Key InteractIon FeatUreS

Social media box: + This box doesn’t display a list of your friends to connect but only one. Also there is only right arrow that make users feel annoy then they want to come back to their friends.+ When clicking follow, it disappears and doesn’t show what to do next (such as look at friend’s playlists....)+ When you click on “*” icon to close the box, you don’t know how to turn it back on and search for your friends.

The main menu+ Most of the functions are quite similar. There are too many sessions on the menu tab and they make me give up when trying to use these features.

3Profile drop down menu+Cannot change the default setting to “Private Session”+ The profile session is poor and lack of interactions/functions between users and their friends+Notification icon is not eye catching enough to get people’s attention.

Timeline+ There isn’t option/button to go up to the header imediately.+ There isn’t the option to search for specific information/date in your profile or page timeline

3Comment feature+ Facebook did change the ordere of users’ comment sto push the most interesting comments on top (base on their own algorithm) instead of time order. This made users confused and lost track of the conversation .(This has been fixed now)

Skills Endorsements+ I found the skill endorsement feature is very useful and effective. It helps head hunters/your potential employers know your skills and some sorts of acknowledgements/references.

Portfolio+ The portfolio session is very poor designed and hard to use/showcase your work in a professional standard. I also find it hard to link back to your original portfolio website.

Invite/accept connecting invitations+ When received invitation, I usually go to their profile to check out who was it. When at their profile page, I don’t have option to ignore/deny the invitation. + If I go back to the invitation drop down bar, I can choose to “archive” or “accept” the invitation but the icon (X) usually confused me because I always thought it stands for deny instead of “achieve”.
