They bravelycarried on after their loved ones had made their supreme sacrifices. It is hoped that this work willmemorialize them all forever in the collective hearts of a grateful nation.

The following list is only a preliminary draft. It is drawn from the 1941 Mobile City Directory and Departmentof Defense records housed at the National Archives along with other sources and is not complete. There will beerrors found and the compiler wishes to apologize for them in advance. It is hoped that readers will be kindenough to offer their advice and corrections wherever they are needed.
