About MeImagine having the love of your life murdered out of jealousy. Well it’s a reality for me Alcyone the princess of the winds, daughter of Aeolus, the god of the winds. I am also known as one of the sisters of the Pleiades (the virgin companion's). Many people say that I am devoted/loving and worrisome, but it's just that I am very close to my husband that's all. Who can blame me, I married him, didn't I? When my husband was leaving for his journey overseas I wanted to go with him. I mean who wouldn't want to go with their husband on a journey far away, but he told me to stay so I waited for his return thinking about him night and day. After I had waited two days I started to pray to the gods Iris and Hera for help; I needed to know if my husband was okay, I needed a sign. After a couple more days my husband came to me in ghost form and told me how he died. He told me that Hera had killed him on his journey, out of jealousy for our happy marriage. When I found out I drowned myself so I could be with him because I wanted to be with him always and forever and to always keep him company. He was gone I couldn't bare it I need to be with him forever. So then I went down to the beach to see the last place that we saw each other. Then I saw a body floating in the water and it was my husbands. I went up to his body to see if there was any way he could still be alive. I looked everywhere, he needed to be alive! I started to kiss him hoping he would feel my affection for him but nothing; I was starting to freak out. As I kept on kissing him we both started to turn into birds and I then knew that we could be together forever. This was a gift from Zeus because he took pity on me and Ceyx; he felt sorry for what his selfish wife did, and I'm glad, because now we can be together forever. I guess that's why people call me both devoted/loving and worrisome.

Who I’d Like To Meet:I would like to meet Liam Nissan because his wife also died like my husband Except his wife died skiing and my husband died sailing a ship overseas.

Though I have had many affairs, I can be depended on by many people. My husband, Hephaestus, is the lame god of metalworking. But, he eventually got tired of me and my love affairs with Ares, Hermes, Poseidon, Dionysus, and Adonis. My husband made a metal contraption to catch us in bed. That was the only way to start preventing my affairs I guess, in his mind it was anyway. Since I have had so many affairs, I guess they could come in handy in a way. When those people are in trouble, they can count on me to be there, if they ever needed help with anything. Such as the Trojan war. One of my sons Aeneas was the leader of the Trojan war. It is also said that I was one of the factors that led to the out brake of the Trojan war. I am also the fairest of them all, can you believe that, compared to Hera and Artemis. I was surprised, but since I had the best bribe, I guess I deserved to win. Who doesn't want the most beautiful wife in the world? So that made it that much easier for me to win fairest of them all, and I did. That probably sounds selfish, but it is also an accomplishment for me. So I guess I don't seem like the greatest person in the world. But you have to look past the fact or fiction, and I will help you with whatever you might need.

About MeI am one handsome god, not to speak to highly of my self. I'm known as the god of the sun, the arts, medicine, protector of herdsmen and their flocks, and god of prophecy.  I fell in love with Cassandra, daughter of King Priam of Troy, and gave her the gift of prophecy to win her favor. When she rejected me, I was furious. So you know what I did, I declared that her prophecies would be accurate but that no one would believe her. The other day, I took Hermes to court because he stole my cows! That kid makes me so mad! I guess I get all worked up over the little things so I am short tempered. My brother and I defended the honor of our mother, Leto. A woman named Niobe, who had six sons and six daughters, boasted that her offspring outshone my brother and I. Outraged, our mother sent us to punish Niobe. Then Artemise and I shot Niobe's children with their arrows, killing all of them. I was a completely devoted to my mother Leto, and would kill ruthlessly in her name. Hera sent beasts and giants to kill my mother, but you know what I did, I fought them away, practically once I was born. So as you can see, I am very cautious when it comes to family.

About MeSeeing people being battered and bruised, for this is what I live for, and how much do I enjoy it. Yea so what if some people call me cruel, I see it as more. The bully, another one of my nicknames from the mortals, gets to lead and start all the bloodshed, in all which perfectly suits me. For instance, I can say I feel pride in having my throne made of mortal flesh, in which it helps me remember my great feats in the Trojan war. They all say Athena is the one that is wise in war, but honestly who needs strategy when war is only war. All know in highest respect toward me that they do not want to get the old God of war angry off his throne with spear and army at his side. Everyone has seen what I can do, and everyone wants none of it.Now I do not like that I am, nor like to admit I can be a bit short-tempered. For Poseidon experienced this when I killed his son out of rage, but who could really blame me for a rape his son committed against my precious young daughter. Also, Hercules my pest, mortal half-brother that I had came right back at for revenge. This was indeed after he had shot me with an arrow in the thigh for my son's trouble he had gotten into for trapping him in a jar. Now in my opinion, I think breaking out into war against Hercules was reasonable for a shot to the leg, but that's just me. I suppose you could infer I am cruel and short-tempered, but what consequence could possibly come out with no war or bodies being split and obliterated into millions of pieces.Who I’d Like To Meet:

Artemis Out Hunting for the weekend with Athena, be back on Monday!!

My BlurbsAbout Me

The Goddess of Hunting, yep, you heard right. Goddess, as in a female god, and you guessed it that would be me, the Goddess of Hunting. Even though people always remember me for the bad things, think I'm a pretty decent person. I try to help out others but seriously everyone has a point where they can NOT take all the disrespect anymore and some people know me for the times when I was disrespected and I took action. Like this one time a guy called Actaeon came across me

while I was bathing in a stream, and I had to force his hounds to kill him; I am forever a virgin and even being seen while bathing is degrading, I did it for my own good. Oh, and another time when I was wrongly disrespected was when Ademtus and Alcestis were getting married they "forgot" to give their offering to me, so I HAD to put snakes in the the bridal chamber. It is completely wrong for people to forgot all about how I helped others in childbirth. For instance when I was just a newborn I helped my mother, Leto, give birth to my twin brother Apollo. Also, all those sick people I helped, no-one remembers. I am a divinity of healing, and nobody remembers the people that I helped, they only remember the harm I did. I wish people wouldn't just see me as revengeful but also as helpful.Who I’d Like To Meet:Annie Oakley for her shooting skills!!!

My BlurbsAbout Me I am the smartest one up here on Mt. Olympis. I was active in the lives of many warriors, kings, and heroes. For example, I helped the heroes Jason, Cadmus, Odysseus and Heracles in their quests, and I sponsored Perseus in his quest to slay Medusa because I wanted the Gorgon's head to decorate my shield. With that scary face on my shield no one will mess with me. Even though it may seem that I am a violent person I'm really not. I don't really use violence to solve my problems; I use reasoning (or the occasional punishment). Although, things weren't as easy as they seem for a goddesses like me. You see, to become patron of Athens, I had to win a contest against my uncle, Poseidon. We had to devise a gift for the city. With his trident, Poseidon struck the Acropolis (the hill in the middle of the city) and a saltwater spring began to flow. Then, being the clever person I am, I touched the Acropolis with my spear, and an olive tree sprang forth. The people decided that my gift was the more valuable and they chose me as their patron. No surprise there. Even with all my success I chose not to marry anyone, even though Hephaestus was very fond of me. A lot of marriages between gods and goddesses end in jealousy and disaster

About MeWhat happened? I was leading us Titans to assault the heavens to finally crush the Olympian Gods. I have to admit that I don't know what hit me. We came so close to victory, but in the end, us Titans were defeated, and Zeus gave me a special punishment for leading the assault; to hold the heavens for an eternity. Not only that, the Hesperian Drakon (dragon), a great beast that knew no mercy, tormented me the entire time. However, for all these years I have held the heavens, unwavering, I have not succumbed to the great burden on my shoulders. Even though the Hesperian Drakon tormented me while I was in my suffering, I would still hold. Even with help, I alone actually held the weight of the heavens. I think it's fair to say that I am unchanging.    However, I did get help in holding up the heavens, even though I wasn't too pleasant to those that gave help to me. I have to admit I am a bit foolish. For example, that one hero, Perseus, comes by one day and asks for a bit of hospitality while he was visiting. Hah! I thought, this mortal is asking hospitality from someone as ancient and as powerful as me, a Titan? Except of course, Perseus wasn't a normal mortal and was furious that I refused to give him hospitality. Rather foolish see, because Perseus sometimes would take out Medusa's head and turn his enemies to stone. So yeah, he took out the head and turned me into a mountain called Mount Toukbal in the Atlas Mountains in Africa.     Anyways, in another version of the story, I meet Perseus' great-grandson Hercules. He needed to complete the 12 Labors and the latest task involved stealing some golden apples from Hera's garden. He

came by since my daughters, the Hesperides, tended the apples. Hercules made a deal with me. He would hold up the heavens for some time while I would go and pick some apples for him. Yes! I thought, I could trick this guy into holding the heavens for me! So, I got the apples for him and returned. This is the one mistake that I really regret. "Here, hold this for a minute while I scratch my back" said Hercules. I placed the heavens back on my shoulders while Hercules took the apples and got away. Later he took pity in me and slew my tormentor the Hesperian Drakon and built 2 great pillars to ease my burden. Still, it would have been better if he still held the heavens... However, even if I am foolish, I am still unchanging and will endure this punishment. Who I’d Like To Meet:Napoleon Bonaparte, defeat is something we both have in common .

Goddess of Vegetarian and Fruitfulness

My Blurbs

About Me    Do you like the earth?  The beauty of the trees and the

richness of the soil?  You better 'cause I created all that stuff.

My name is Demeter but many of you know me as the goddess

of vegetarian and fruitfulness.  Others might know me as the

fearful and withdrawn goddess and you know what, I see

where they are coming from.

I will try to contain your tears as I tell you about my

devastating reality.  Well, a long time ago, I gave birth to my

first and only child named Persephone.  This girl was my

pride and joy and so I raised her and she grew up to become a

beautiful lady.  Unfortunately, Hades the ruler of the

underworld kidnapped my daughter and made her his queen.

I knew that man was no good from the start and I did not

know if I would ever see my daughter again.  I could not

picture my life without Persephone.  I would hear about how

much Zeus loved his favorite daughter Athena and I would get

jealous.  I talked to Zeus and he was able to work some of his

magic.  Somehow he persuaded Hades to return Persephone.

But oh-there was a catch.  During her stay in the underworld,

she had eaten some pomegranate seeds and because of this,

Persephone was forever tied to Hades.

With Persephone being gone, I took myself out of reality.  I

lived in solitude almost as if I was a loner of some sort.  The

worst thing I did was neglect the earth.  As a result, all the

crops withered and died, and famine spread over the world.

Because of the seeds, Persephone was required to spend part

of the year with Hades and part of the year with me. When my

little girl is gone, the earth is barren and when she and I join,

plants are able to grow.

I miss you mom, but I’m ok here with Hades. He gives me these amazing pomegranate seeds to eat all the time. There is no need to make the earth barren when I gone.

About Me Many people would say I, Hephaestus, God of craftsmen, fire, and metalworking, am one of the lamest, least important, most un-appreciated gods in Greek Mythology. I disagree. There should be no arguement on how helpful I am to the other gods and goddesses, and with what people do to me, it's obvious that I'm forgiving. First off, how do you think the palaces on top of Mount Olypmus got there? Yes it was me. Nobody's ever doing anything for good ol' Hephaestus, but it's always me building, crafting, and preparing things for other gods.  I crafted armor for Achillies during the Siege of Troy, made Zeus’s lightning bolt, created Athena’s aegis, made Ero’s arrows, and didn’t get much of anything in return! So if you think otherwise of my helpfulness, you’re just crazy. Also, I am a very forgiving god. My own mother threw me off of Mount Olympus because I was born limp, and then later, my father did the same thing! You might ask what I did when I got back. I did once try to get a little revenge on my mother, by trapping

her in a throne I built for her, but I freed her shortly after. You may say that is revengeful, but it is nothing compared to what they did to me. Even after what they did to their own son, I still helped, and loved my parents. Some might wonder why I even come back to them, and some might call me dumb for doing it, but I believe that at some point, the other Gods and Goddesses will finally appreciate me, and my hard work I have done to help make Olympus a better place. In conclusion, I am one of the most helpful gods, and I am also very forgiving.Who I’d Like To Meet:Craftsmen of the future!!!

About Me Roar.  Scared? Yeah, didn't think so.  People used to flee in terror just at the sight of me, but now hardly anyone even recognizes my name.  Maybe Hercules has mentioned it in some conversations of his twelve labors.  Yes, the second of his tasks was to battle me.  I have to say, I gave a good fight, considering even the great Hercules couldn't take me down without help from Iolaus (little cheater!).  If he got a good whiff of my breath he wouldn't be so proud right now.  I have to admit, I could really use some mints or something, because my stench has been known to...well, kill people.    I've been told I'm a unique being.  Considering I am a water serpant with over five heads, one being immortal, and a great skill in combat, I guess I am a bit strange.  I remember the days when I would hang out at that swamp in Argos devouring passing cattle

and humans.  Good times.  Wouldn't give them a chance, no sir, that would be against my policy.  Maybe that was a bit rough, but hey, I gotta eat something.  Sadly, those experiences are long gone.  Ever since Hercules ripped off my last head and buried it under that rock, I've been up here in the stars.  Seen the Hydra constellation?  That's me.  I guess I shoud be thanking Hera for putting me up here instead of leaving me dead.  After all, she did help raise me.      Is that a surprise?  That Hera would make a beast like me?  That's what I get a lot.  But it actually makes a lot of sense.  I was to be a difficult adversary for that stinking Hercules.  You see,  that man was another son of Zeus, but not Hera.  So naturally, the queen of the gods .l;,kmyt6hates him because he is the result of Zeus cheating on her again.  I can't say I blame her.  Zeus needs to settle down and stay with his wife and only his wife.    My memory of that fight is very vague, as I was very concentrated that day and didn't realize much of what I was doing.  If you want to learn more, Hera might be a good person to talk to, because I bet she was watching.  But please, never talk to that jerk Hercules.  Knowing him, he'd probably twist the story around to make me look like a clumsy fool, even though I'm quite the opposite. I like to think of myself as a fierce, tough opponent that is feared by  everyone.  I would tear him to shreads the first minute I'd get if I wasn't dead!

Millionth bad hair day in a row!!!!!!

My BlurbsAbout Me

Hey! No, down here. Yeah, I know I'm a talking head. Perseus beheaded me! Not much I can do about that! So, I'm known as the mean, snake-haired monster that turns everyone to stone. You see at one time I was a beautiful maiden who was turned into an ugly Gorgon by Athena for having kids with Poseidon. Well, news flash Athena! Cheating is all the rage in Greek Mythology! Everyone's doing it! Anyway, back to how I'm such a "malicious" monster. Every time I set my eye on someone I turn them to stone. It's not like I'm trying to make their life miserable! Well, maybe just a little. Don't tell me you wouldn't try to make someone's life just a little worse than your own! Oh how I'd love to set my eye on that awful Athena, preposterous Perseus or that conniving King Polydektes! As the story goes, Perseus wanted to marry the king's daughter. Polydektes told him to fetch the head of yours truly, knowing that he would be turned to stone prior to accomplishing the task. Well, that surely would've happened had I not been a sleep! It's not very nice to ambush someone while they are defenseless. I am no bounty to be achieved in a mere scavenger hunt!  I guess I'm still petrifying people in my beheaded state because I just hope one of them is from the team that brought on my demise so I can get even.  Back to the aegis for me and hopefully you still don't think of me as malicious and revengeful.

About Me How's the weather up here you say? Yes, I'm a giant. Don't mess with me though I'll hunt you down and I have an act for that. Sometimes I am daring and rude, but for the most part I am nice, I guess.  Some people think I am daring because I can hunt. Hunting is a very dangerous sport because sometimes people can get hurt or killed while hunting due to various reasons. Another reason is why I am daring is that I offended Apollo, and well you don't want to mess with that guy. I always get that first impression that I am rude to everyone. That's why people think I am rude. For example, Apollo wasn't very fond of me, he didn't like me. Maybe he knew what I did in my past, I don't know!  Another reason is why people think I am rude is that I harassed one of Artemis's followers and I was killed, By Artemis! That's only one explanation of my death, though because people have many explanations of why I died.

I knew I could beat Apollo in music! I'm much better than him!  But you know what?  That judge declared him the winner!  I couldn't believe it and neither could King Midas.  Apollo was so angry at the king’s judgment, he turned his ears into that of a donkey!  If that's not an over reaction I don't know what is!  Now if you excuse me I am going to get back to my nap.Who I’d Like To Meet:Louie Armstrong

About MeYes, I was the one that opened the box letting out all the disfunctions in humankind today, and no, I am not proud of it. Why did I open the box if I had a feeling it was going to be bad?  The beautifully crafted, square, 3 dimension, hallowed box was haunting me, calling my name, almost like it needed me and I could not wait one more minute. When Zeus gave it to me when Hephaestus created me out of clay, I was suspicious. I thought of what it could be for hours as I did housework and my duties of being a good wife to Epimethius but whenever I began, the itty bitty box called out, " Pandora, you know you want to, you know you must, why don't you just take a little peek?" Every second I would picture in my mind jewels, treasure, wealth and gold waiting for their exposure to light. My housework could wait! I just had to open it! I did not care about anything else but that box at that moment. Just as I lifted the lid, disease, illness, murder, taxes and ignorance came flying out and all that was left at the bottom was Hope. Curiosity killed the cat, and right now, I was the cat. Because of my impatience and curiosity, all my daughters would have difficult child birth and men would always overpower woman. Is it really that bad?

About Me    You might know me as that warm-hearted guy

who brought the fire down to the humans.  I created

the mortals from some lumps of clay in the figure of

the gods. I expected a simple, "Wow Prometheus,

that is a work of art", or "That is something creative

thinking", from Zeus. But no, he had to get all mad

and made them mortal. I don't know why Zeus hates

them so much. I mean, they did nothing at all to

harm us, or anything mean for that matter. Then

Zeus hung me on a cliff for what seemed like

forever, when all I did was take some of Zeus's

precious fire. I gave it to the mortals so life would be

just a little bit easier for them. I'm just too kind to let

those things go. Who could go on without any

cooked food, heated water, or warmth from a

burning hot fire?  Also, when I was hanging on that

horrid cliff, or as you could say...my punishment, I

was very tolerant to the scorching pain. Can a guy

really hold a grudge for that long? I would hang

there every day, and then there would come that

eagle. He would eat my liver which was the worst

part of all. Even though I am immortal it doesn't

mean I can't feel any pain. Anyway the punishment

was much worse than what I did. As you can see I

am not a big fan of Zeus. Not to brag or anything

but I think that I am a pretty warm-hearted guy and

head and every limb off his torso, and put him in a bag to take to my cave.

one of my friends guard it while I went to celebrate, thinking that Zeus would not

be rescued in my absence. Also, all the gods and goddesses had run away and I

already had the only god that was actually had the guts to challenge me in my

possession, but I hadn't counted on the others actually standing up for the

challenge and fighting. But of course Athena realizes its the only time to rescue

him and she successfully does it. Zeus reassembles and goes berserk!! He rips out

Mt. Etna from the ground and throws it at me crushing me. I really wished I

could go back and make myself guard Zeus so that I could have ruled the world.

Haha Typhon. You tried to act all tough and you think that defeating me once would get rid of me. WRONG. Now you've paid for what you did and you're under a mountain :P

Unwise the deed you did was. Leaving Zeus in a bag was most unwise and impulsive. You have once again paid the price.
