PRLRC Policy for Showing at Specialties: The Show Chairman, the Hospitality Chairman and Members ofthe Show Committee will not be prohibited from showing their dogs at the Specialties if they so desire. Sincethe Hospitality Committee's Judges Hospitality Liaison members will by the nature of their duties have to interactto some degree with the judges immediately before or during the shows, they should make arrangements tohave their dogs shown by other people in order to avoid any appearance of impropriety. If the Show Chairchooses to interact with the judges immediately before of during the shows, she/he is expected to do the same. Rev. 1/10/2011

! The PRLRC believes in the intergrity of the AKC dog show system, and that of the approved AKC judges. Webelieve the judges we provide are fair and honest in selecting the best dogs of the day, regardless of anyrelationship with dog owners, handlers or Club members. To that end the PRLRC follows the AKC ruling: Anyperson acting in the capacity of Superintendent, and Show Secretary at a show, or any person residing in thesame household with the Superintendent or Show Secretary shall not exhibit, act as agent or handler at theshow and dogs owned wholly or in part by him/her or by any person residing in the same household with him/herwill be ineligible to be entered at this show. The official veterinarian shall not exhibit, act as agent or handlerat the show and dogs owned wholly or in part by him/her shall not be eligible to be entered at this show.However, Club members involved in the process of assisting with the show, the show committee are allowedand encouraged to show their dogs. Members wishing to Steward and also show a dog must show prior tostepping into a stewarding position.

The following rules apply to those wishing to have dogs in their rooms: Do not leave dogs alone in room for anextended periods of time. Dogs must be crated in the rooms or guests will be subject to expulsion. Plasticsheeting must be placed under each crate. Dogs must be on leash at all times while out on the grounds of thehotel. Reported disturbances from barking dogs will be grounds for explusion. All dogs must be exercised inan area as designated by the hotel (if any). Dog handlers must remove and dispose of any droppings thereon.Rooms subject to inspection by Hotel Staff & PRLRC respresentative at check out. DIRECTIONSI-95 Northbound: In CT, Exit 92 (Westerly-North Stonington exit). Turn left onto Rt 2 West to traffic circle,continue West on Route 2, At third traffic light (Shell Station) turn right onto Main Street. Take left onto WyassupRoad at the Historical Society building. Grange Fairgrounds are on the left approximately 1/2 mile.

I-95 Southbound: In CT, Exit 92. Cross intersection to connector to Rt. 2 West. Follow Rt. 2 through traffic circleto third traffic light (Shell Station). Turn right onto Main Street. Proceed as above.

Route 395: Exit 22 to Rt. 164 toward Preston. Stay on 164 through 2 traffic lights to end. Turn left at secondlight onto Rt. 2 East. Travel 9 miles to light with Shell Station on right. Turn left onto Main Street, Proceed asabove.

DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging willbe excused.

JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible for thepresence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The Show-giving club and theSuperintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewardsor runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required.

ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in theexercising ring.

CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made inthe ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent to be advised at once. The Super-intendentand Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.

THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors,but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs orexhibitors participating in this show.

PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES.EXHIBITORS AND HANDLERS will be responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates.An administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.
