Hello and welcome to the autumn edition of my Corinda Suburb Report. This is the

latest in a series of reports which have been designed to keep you up to date with

the very latest on what’s going on in our treasured suburb. Hopefully it helps you

keep your finger on the pulse of what your property is worth.

Please be sure to contact me for any of your real estate queries... I continue to list

and sell houses near you in my specialist area of Corinda. I live in Corinda, love

Corinda, and sell Corinda!

When your property is launched to the market For Sale,

prospective buyers will find it through one of our promotional

activities, do a drive-by, and arrange an inspection or

come to the Open Home. Once they enter the front gate,

before entering the front door, they will respond to the

environment. Therefore it is of vital importance that your

place is prepared for when they arrive as you only get one

opportunity to make a sparkling first impression!

Presenting your property to appeal to all the senses will

help maximise the saleability of your home. One way to

think about it is a buyer does not want to inherit your To

Do list. Of course all homes are different, however in most

cases we recommend low cost/high reward activities such

as:

• External house wash to make the home sparkle (James

0406 969 305 from Scotty’s Exterior House Washing

Specialists)

• A lick of paint inside and out (Danny 0419 727 037 from

Fair Dinkum Painting)

• Pressure hose outside paths, patio areas, and the

driveway (John 0418 984 331 from Hire-A-Hubby)

• Fix those odd jobs around the house (John 0418 984

331 from Hire-A-Hubby)

• Cypress mulch gardens, trim hedges and cut back

trees (Ashley 0400 888 250 from Sharp Edges Mowing

& Maintenance)

• Declutter furniture and other ‘stuff’ inside to be as basic

as possible, and make the home look as spacious as

possible (Lee 0410 583 991 from The Van That Can)

• Give the property a good spring clean inside (Kay 0428

969 004 from A & K Cleaning)

• Consider styling the property (Imogen 0432 994 056

from Home Staging Brisbane)

Presentation is an important part in the process in achieving

absolute top dollar for your home. Be sure to contact us as

we would love to pop around and provide you with specific

recommendations for your property.

Presenting your property for sale tips.

Thanks for your time today Bruno, tell us a little bit about

your cafe

“Caffe Primavera has been part of the Corinda

community for over 17 years, which is something we

are extremely proud of. We started out as a casual

daytime lunch venue, but have since progressed to

offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week, and

now employ over 25 dedicated staff. Our cuisine has

always been modern with a Mediterranean twist.”

What is it that you love about Corinda?

“We love the community spirit of its people who

have always generously supported us and their local

businesses. Its green leafy tree lined streets are

second to none, and the suburb also boasts a diverse

range of businesses that cater for everyone’s needs.

Plus it has great schools and is close to a number of

fantastic major shopping centres.”

How do you like to give back to the community?

“Over the years we have taken great satisfaction in

supporting local schools, sporting clubs, Rotary

organisations and various other businesses. We will

continue to give back and look forward to maintaining

these relationships long into the future.”
