HOW TO MAKE A HOW TO MAKE A ““Pasca”Pasca”
*“Pasca” is a pound cake filled with cottage cheese and sour cream.
*It is a traditional Romanian desert, usually done for Easter.
How do we do it?How do we do it?
*For making “pasca” we need to make a a dough and a cheese filling.
*Here is how my grandma and I did ours for this Easter
The dough -ingredientsThe dough -ingredients*500 g flour*150 g sugar*300 g milk*3 eggs *25 g yeast*100 g oil*a teaspoon of salt*vanilla, rum*grated lemon peel
The dough -preparationThe dough -preparation*Mix the eggs andsugar together until thesugar melts!
*Put the yeast in a bowl of hot milk!

flour and lemonand mix them to obtain a dough!
*Knead the dough forabout 20 minutes!

*After kneading the dough,just leave it there and waitfor it to grow!

* Mix them together and finally add the raisins!

* Knit two long piecestogether and put themaround the dough in thetrey! * …..…wait……..
Making pasca!Making pasca!*After the dough grewa little, fill it with the cheese filling!*We made a cross on top because this is the tradition in Romania,but you feel free to decorate it as you wish!*Now put it in the oven!(around 45 minutes)
