Your dream wedding at Parrot Cay

LOCATIONSAs the sun sets on Parrot Cay, the sky takeson a palette of soft pinks, which makes for abeautiful backdrop to your Caribbeanwedding. Two locations are available forbeachfront weddings: a boardwalk aisle thatleads to a pristine white beach, or the beachof the bride and groom’s private villa, shouldyou choose to rent one during your stay.Included with each package is the weddingset-up comprising a white cloth runnerleading to the sand decorated with fresh localflower petals, palm leaves and conch shells.We can also provide a canopy for the brideand groom for the wedding ceremony itself.

SIZE Parrot Cay can accommodate all types ofweddings, from a small intimate gathering toa complete island buy-out for up to 150guests. Please contact us for moreinformation and availability.

CEREMONY Parrot Cay offers several ceremonies forcouples to choose from, which can becustomised by the bride and groom to reflect their own personal beliefs. Alternatively, you may bring your own Justice of Peace or Minister. Typicallyceremonies last around 20 minutes.

WITNESSES You are required to have two witnesses, onefemale and one male. If required, staff atParrot Cay are happy to act as witnesses foryour special day.

FLOWERSParrot Cay works with excellent localflorists in Providenciales and we canaccommodate most special requests forspecific flowers or arrangements. Ourteam will liaise with you to help you andyour florist to create your own scheme.

CAKE Parrot Cay’s pastry chefs will work withyou to create a beautiful wedding cake.You can design your own from scratch orchoose from a number of beautiful in-house options.

ENTERTAINMENT Whether you like classical violin or livelyCaribbean ‘ripshaw’ music, we canprovide a range of options for the weddingand after party including solo artists, smallbands and DJs.

MENU CREATIONWe offer an extensive choice of menus oryou can customise your own. Cuisine onthe island reflects Parrot Cay’sinternational outlook with menus rangingfrom Asian, Mediterranean and Caribbeanto easygoing barbeque and our healthyCOMO Shambhala Cuisine. Much of ourfresh fruit and some vegetables arehomegrown here at Parrot Cay.

TERRACE RESTAURANTThe Terrace restaurant has ocean views and canaccommodate meals outside on the terrace or inside.The restaurant can be booked out or an area can bereserved if you wish to have dinner (for up to 12 people)without reserving the whole restaurant. Food is fresh andcolourful Mediterranean-style. Menus also feature healthyCOMO Shambhala Cuisine.

LOTUS RESTAURANT Our poolside Lotus restaurant overlooks the ocean andis the ideal spot for pre-dinner drinks or a light, Asian-inspired supper or healthful COMO ShambhalaCuisine. An intimate dinner for up to 12 people can bearranged here if you wish to have dinner without booking the entire restaurant.

TIKI HUTOur Tiki Hut overlooks the infinity pool and beach,offering a secluded spot for a romantic dinner for two.

SHAMBHALA SPA COTTAGE Offering the most private and intimate setting, this is ascreened cottage overlooking the beautiful wetlands andnature reserve, decorated with candles and tropicalflowers. Shambhala Cottage is the perfect venue for aromantic dinner for two or an intimate dinner for up to six people.

PARROT CAY À LA CARTEWEDDING OPTIONS

Donna Karan’s ‘Sanctuary’

LEGALITIES AND PAPERWORKYou will need some basic legal documentation and paperwork inorder to be married at Parrot Cay. Our weddings team will supportyou in ensuring you have all the right documents but for yourreference, please see this list of the paperwork required.

You will need: 1. Marriage License Application form (three pages), which will need to be completed

by the couple prior to their arrival.

2. Copies of both party’s birth certificates.3. Copies of both party’s passports.4. Eligibility for marriage affidavits. Two affidavits must be notarised in the Turks

and Caicos Islands.

5. Notarised name change documents

If single: a search of the registry in the Country/State where you reside stating that there is no record of a previous marriage and a sworn affidavit stating that you are single and have not been married previously. This affidavit and the testimony must be notarised stating that you are single, free to marry and that no marriage has been registered before.

If divorced: notarised copies of your divorce decree absolute. If widowed: copies of the death certificate and certified copy of the marriage certificate of the deceased spouse and the declarant.

6. Notarised copies of Turks and Caicos Islands Immigration slip (which will be given upon entry into the country)

All copies of documents must be notarised or certified prior to your arrival (exceptapplication forms). They will then be notarised again by a Turks and Caicos Justice ofthe Peace once you arrive on Parrot Cay.

Please note that a 24-hour residency is required to secure a wedding license at ParrotCay. The application for a marriage license can only be processed during workingdays (Monday to Friday). If we co-ordinate the legal procedures, it will take two to fourbusiness days to process. For this reason we recommend that guests stay aminimum of 72 hours prior to the wedding to ensure all documentation is in order. No waiting period is required once the license has been received.

BUTLER SERVICE AND PRIVATE CHEFS Butler service is included in the room ratefor two-bedroom villas and larger. At TheSanctuary, three butlers are included (oneper villa). For other room types, the dailyrate for personal butler service is US$350.Butler service is 24 hours.

A private chef is included in the room ratefor The Sanctuary estate home, when thewhole 11-bedroom estate is rented.

For other room types, the rate for a privatechef is US$350 per meal (maximum eight

guests). For nine guests and above(maximum 15 guests), the fee will beUS$500 per meal.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY Parrot Cay allows a maximum of twoadults and up to two children less than 12years of age in a Garden View or OceanView Room, One Bedroom Suite, OneBedroom Beach House and One BedroomVilla. For a Two and Three Bedroom Villa,extra beds are at Parrot Cay’s discretion.

FLIGHT DETAILS It is extremely important that you providetimely and accurate flight arrival anddeparture details in order for us to arrangeyour land and sea transfers.

Holiday Reservations Due to availability, we are not able to caterto weddings over major holiday periods.Please contact our wedding planner formore information.

ROOM RESERVATION POLICY For groups of 10 rooms or more a contractwill be required. A 10 percent non-refundable deposit of the rooms revenue isrequired to hold the block of rooms and tohold the wedding date. Full pre-payment ofall rooms and estimated wedding costs isrequired 45 days prior to arrival.

MISCELLANEOUS All miscellaneous items rented includingtransportation to accommodate your eventwill be at your expense. You will beresponsible for the fee to transport yourvendors pre, during and post events.
