P lan the Keystone is a study to identify infrastructure investments forthe Keystone stations and their surrounding areas w ith the goal of enhancing the transit service and strengthening the communit ies servedby the Keystone Line. What Have We Heard?
Improve the Station
Not enough parking at the current station
Parking is not organized and often full by late morning
Parking lot was newly paved but is deteriorating
No easy way to get to the west bound track
Access to west bound platform is informal and dangerous
Lack of lighting becomes scary at night
Station building is closed to riders
Station building is in disrepair
General lack of amenities at the station
Traffic access to train station is difficult lack of signs
Platforms are broken-up, cant walk in high heels
Platforms are dangerous in winter with ice
Would like to get SEPTA service restored
Most riders come from outside of Parkesburg
Need associated businesses like a coffee shop
Passenger information lacking
Underpass floods
