Revisiting Laudato Si In his encyclical Laudato Si, Pope Francis reminded us that the ear th is a gift created by God and we are to be good stewards of that gift protecting it now and for the future. Pope Francis said that protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility. How can we take action? Some examples of things we can do are recycling, using public transportation or carpooling, limiting toxic chemical use in our homes and using less water. We can also take action by advocating with our legislators for laws and public policies which will protect the environment. Reflect on these questions: What does good stewardship of God’s creation mean to you? What actions can you take to care for the earth at home, work, school or church? To learn more, go to www.catholicclimatecovenant.org.

Thank you to all the children and families that donated material and helped to make tied blankets

for the newly Baptized! What beautiful gifts!
