20.9.2015: A day out with the parents in the lap of nature (CHAMPAK

HILLS) was a wonderful experience to the Aurovian mentors. The journey

started at the day break. Parents participated enthusiastically in the

activities. They were excited to see the New Creation and Aditi school

children growing in a pollution free environment. They were keen to know

the methodology of the New Creation school and appreciated the activity

based curriculum. All the parents were awe stuck to see the eco-friendly

Ganesha made collectively by the students of New Creation and Aditi

school.

4.9.2015: A teacher is a person who shows the path of light and brings the children out from darkness. Sri Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan was one of the greatest teachers. In his honour , his birthday is celebrated as ‘Self Governing Day’. Aurovians celebrated it for two days. The students of classes X, XI and XII took the responsibility of teaching their favourite subject to the younger children. They put up a wonderful cultural program to showcase their

bonding towards their teachers.

4.9.2015: Teachers Day is perhaps the most awaited event

both for the student and the Teacher. Teachers look at it as

an opportunity to sit back and relax while for the students,

it is the time that they can express their gratitude through

surprises like programs and games. This year the

responsibility of organizing the program was completely

taken over by the 12th class students. The students strived

hard and brought out the best in their juniors . The

programs were excellently show cased right from the LKG

to XII class. The programs consisted of plays, dances, short

speeches, recitation and not to forget the games and

activities which were played by the teachers. It was indeed

a great Day for both the Teachers as well as the students.

After the program all the Teachers assembled in the

Meditation hall and received a book on Sri Aurobindo &

the Mother as Their blessings!

9.9.2015: In connection with the Husain Sagar Lake Programme

wi th the suppor t of HMDA (HYDERABAD

METROPOLOITAIN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY) and

CEE (CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENT EDUCATION) our

school was invited to participate in making of clay Ganeshas .

The program was held to bring about a change among the

students and public on the Spiritual conservation of lakes, impact

of POP idols and water pollution. Children were trained to make

the idols. CEE officials explained how it would save the

environment. Our school was judged second best in the making

of the idols.

12.9.2015: Second & Fourth Saturdays are working days for all the staff members. They have reading session , Yoga and other activities to enrich their knowledge and empower themselves professionally. They gathered as a learning community in the hall of Aspiration to celebrate the culmination activity on reading the book ‘ Sri Aurobindo & The Mother On Education’ . Three groups of Teachers shared their learning through various activities like Charts & PPT , Music /&Dance , Poems &Symposium . Three more groups are eager to present on the second Saturday of

October. It was indeed a great learning experience!

21.8.2015: Poetry is a form of expressing the thoughts that takes a reader to the world of imagination. Sri Aurobindo’s poetry makes a reader feel the essence of the Divine. He has written many poems in the glory of the Divine. A few of his poems were given to the classes V, VI and VII to recite. Kavya Madhuri (poetry recitation) was held in the Hall of Aspiration. Students recited the poems with good intonation, pronunciation and feel. Honourable judges Mrs. Geeta Rajeevan and Mrs. Sheela Deshpande appreciated them and encouraged the children to

write simple poetry.

Give all you have , this is the beginning.

Give all you do, this is the way.

Give all you are, this is the fulfillment.

26.9.2015: National Group Song Competition( N. G.S.C) was conducted by Bharat Vikas Parishad in Keshav Memorial Junior College in Narayanguda. A total of 17 schools participated . Among them 12 schools took part in Hindi and Sanskrit song competition , 5 schools in Folk songs and 7 schools in the regional (Telugu) language song competitions respectively. SAIS won the First prize in Hindi & Sanskrit song competition collectively. The first prize winners will be going to the State level competition which is going to be held on the

2.9.2015:SAIS bagged the best theme prize in a Nukkad Natak—Street Drama competition on ‘ Rashtriya Ekta me Hindi bhasha ka yogadaan’ - Contribution of Hindi language in national Unity’ for X class students at

Kennedy High The Global School.

Assembly programs

India is a land of diversity, cultures, traditions and languages. The theme given to the children was Indian traditions and cultures. The students had a ramp walk in the traditional dresses from different parts of the country and proved the word “diversity.” They also shared the purpose of

the following:-

“Environment” was the theme given to class VC students. “Go green” was the motto. Students were wonder stuck and promised to save the Earth by

following simple tips.

Aditya of the same class shared his contribution towards

the environment with his fellow students. He said that he

helps his father in terrace farming. They planted few

vegetables which are grown using organic manure as

fertilizer. In this way he is making his surroundings

green .

Parents were thrilled to see little

children of Harmony Section share their

views in saving our Mother Earth.

Abhinav’s father said that children

portrayed their ideas wonderfully on the

Environment Canvas. He said that these

children would one day become

wonderful citizens of the country and

save the Earth.

Namaste : Saluting the divine in every one.

Breaking of a coconut: It is to break the ego present in a

person in front of God.

Ringing of a bell in front of the Lord: It is to get the

concentration back from distractions.

Though there are different languages in our country we find oneness amongst them. The students spoke sentences in

different languages.

Everyone present over there felt proud of their country.

Children of Sundaram group presented their assembly program . They enacted an English play named ‘ Nasreddin Hodja’ and they sung an English song ‘ Little Birdie’. There was a dance performance by the girls . Students gave their best in the role

each took part and enthralled the audience.

The Divine is present

SAIS got talent…. Class III D students in a Drama

16.9.2015: One of children’s favourite festival Ganesh Chathurthi was

celebrated with big enthusiasm in the Pre-Primary block . Children

came in colourful dresses with a fruit and flower in their hands for

Lord Ganesha. Didi’s decorated the idol of Ganesha beautifully. The

celebration began with Ganesha pooja followed by devotional songs

and bajjans by didi’s and children. Children were told about the

importance of the festival. At the end Lord Ganesha’s prasadham was

distributed to all the children.

The whole creation speaks of the Divine to

him who know how to hear within his heart.

Our Tiny Tots In Action....

3.9.2015: Pre Primary celebrated auspicious Krishnastami in

the Prayer hall from 9:30 to 10:10 am. The hall was well

decorated with flowers and models on pots. Children dressed-

up like little Krishna and Gopika.Each and

every child offered their devotion by offering a fruit and flower

to the Lord. Didi's had explained the greatness of lord Krishna

through Bhajans. It was a melodious ending by Umadidi's

Bhajan. Prasadam distributed to all the children.

4.9.2015: The birthday of Dr. Sarvepally Radhakrishnan ie teacher's day was celebrated in the pre primary section creating lot of fun. The tiny tots dressed up and acted like their teachers teaching the other children in the class. A few children from U K G sang a song - 'maa manchi Didi.....' along with their seniors . Tenth class children dressed up and played the role of

teachers and handled the pre-primary classes on that day.

27.9.2015: Raksha bandhan was celebrated by our tiny tots of nursery and LKGwith a great enthusiasm. The celebration began with didi applying a tilak of vermilion and sandal on children's forehead and tying a beautiful hand made rakhi on their wrist. UKG didis made this occasion memorable for children by celebrating Rakhi festival in deer Park. This event was

celebrated mainly to promote and appreciate Indian culture .

12.09.15: Parent teacher meeting was conducted for

pre-primary division. It was an opportunity to discuss

student’s academic progress and social behaviour. It

was a wonderful interaction to extend lines of

communication between home and school. Parent’s

watched the photos of pre-primary children which were

scrolled on the T.V. in the prayer hall and gone through

the resources which were exhibited. Few parental tips

were given by Uma Raman didi.

కౌసల్ాయ సుపజాార్ామా... ఇల్ాంటి సుపభాాతాన్నక ి ముందే న్నదమాేల్కొన్న, కాల్కృతాయల్ు చేసుకున్న, పూజాదికాల్ు న్నర్వహ సతూ నే, వంట మొదల్ుప డుతుంది అమమ. అందర్థకీ అనిం డబాాల్ు కటిి , ఆఫీసుల్కు బయల్ుదేర్చతార్చ మర్థక ందర్చ తల్ుల ల్ు. మర్థ అమమ ఇంత బాధయతగా పవార్థూసుూ ంది కదా. ఆమె చేసే పనుల్ల్ో కనీసం ఒకొ పన్న నాని చేసేూ !!!! భార్యకు ఎంత సహకర్థసుూ నిటలల కదా.. నాని వంట చేయగలిగథ, వంటచేసేూ , అమమకి ఎంత పన్న తగుు తుందో కదా.ఈ విషయం కేవల్ం మా అమమగార్థకో,ల్ేక పాఠకుల్ ైన మీ తల్ుల ల్కో అనుకుంటే మీర్చ పపుాల్ోకాల్ు వేసినటేల . దేశంల్ో ఎందర్ో మహ ళల్ు అనేక బాధయతల్ల్ో ఒకట ైన వంటచేయడం అన ే దాంతో క ంత ఒతిూ డ కి గుర్ౌతునాిర్చ. మగవార్చ కూడా వంటనేర్చుకుంటే మహ ళల్కు భార్ం తగథునటేల కదా. మగవార్చ వంటచేయడం నేర్చుకోవాలి అనే విషయాన్ని నేను మనసతూర్థూగా సమర్థిసుూ నాిను. ఆరోగ్యమే మహాభాగ్యం అనినానుడ న్న మనసుల్ో ప టటి కుంటే కనుక డబుా అనే మహమామర్థ వ ంట పర్చగుల్ు తీసే కార్పార్ేట్ ఉదో యగుల్ందర్థకీ కనువిపుా కల్ుగుతుంది. నాకు వంట ర్ాదు. నేను ప దద మొతూ ంల్ో సంపాదిసుూ నాిను. నేను పతాిర్ోజూ అల్ాాహార్మెైనా, భోజనమెైనా, చివర్కు టీ, కాఫీ ల్ాంటి పానీయాల్ ైనా మంచి హో టళల ల్ో డబుా పార్ేసి సేవిస్ాూ ను.అన్న అనుకునే వార్ందర్థకీ ఒక విషాదకర్మెైన వార్ూ. బయట హో టళల ల్ో తయార్చ చేసే తినుబండార్ాల్ు ఏనాటి పిండ తోనో ఈనాటి దో శల్ను, మొని తయార్చచేసిన గార్ెల్నే న్ననిటి పిండ ల్ో, వాటినే నేటి పిండ ల్ో వేసి మనకు ప డుూ నాిర్నే వార్ూ బయటకు పొ కొకుండానే మనందర్థక ీతెలిసిపో తోంది. ద ంతో డబుాపో సి ర్ోగాల్ను క న్నతెచుుకునే మగమహార్ాజుల్ాల ర్ా.. ఇంటలల నే కాసింత అనిం వండుకున్న, క ంచెం పపుా చేసుకున్న తింటే ర్ోగాల్ను తర్థమివేయడం, డబుాల్ను ఆదా చేయడం ఒకేస్ార్థ జర్చగుతుంది. అందుకే నేనంటాను... నల్భీమపాకాల్ు మగవాళలల చేయల్ేకపో యినా , కనీసం చినిచిని వంటల్ు నేర్చుకుంటూ, వంటయింటి ర్ాణుల్కు సహాయంగాఉంటూ, అవసర్మొచిునపుాడు వంటచేసతూ ఉంటే ల్బి్ధ పొ ందవచుు. తలిలక ిఒంటలల బాగాల్ేకపో యినా, ఏ యితర్ శార్ీర్థక, మానసిక బాధల్ునాి తను వంటచేసి తన కుటటంబ సభ్ుయల్ను సంతోషపర్చసుూ ంది. ఇదే ల్క్షణాన్ని మగవార్చ కూడా క ంత పంచుకోవాలి. మనం అమెర్థకాల్ాంటి విదేశాల్ల్ో అందర్ూ ఇల్ా ఉంటార్చ, అల్ా ఉంటార్చ, ఇల్ా చేస్ాూ ర్చ, అల్ా చేస్ాూ ర్చ. మీర్చకూడా వార్థన్న అనుసర్థంచండ అంటూఉంటాముకదా. మర్థ అమెర్థకాల్ో మగవార్చ కూడా అదుుతంగా వంటచేస్ాూ ర్చ. వార్థల్ాగా వండర్మేి అన్న మనం అనం. అమెర్థకాల్ో ఆడువార్థ కనాి మగవార్చ వంటల్ు చాల్ా బాగా చేసతూ , పౌషిి్కర్మెైన వంటల్ను చేయడంల్ో పాావీణయం పొ ందుతునాిర్చ.
