Ashtavinayak Mantra

The Ashtavinayak or the eight Ganesha or Ganpati temples are located in small towns near the city of Pune in Maharashtra. The Ashtavinayak Yatra or the pilgrimage to all the eight Ganesha temples is normally completed in 2 days if you commence the Yatra from Pune.

Remove Obstacles with This Ganesh MantraBy Gigi Yogini

This is my favorite mantra to awaken Shakti, or the manifesting energy of the Universe, to stoke the fire of transformation within. I teach this mantra in classes, I sing it while driving in Los Angeles traffic and I have shared with with friends, family and students around the world because it’s easy and uplifting with the potential for great results. 

According to the Buddhist Handbook, mantras are "highly compressed, power-packed formulas, usually of Sanskrit origin, which are charged with deep meaning and magical potency." A mantra can be a word, sound or phrase which elevates or modifies consciousness through its meaning, sound, rhythm, tone and reflexology of the tongue against the palate of the mouth.

This particular mantra is “Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha,” which can be loosely translated to “Yo! Wake up Root Chakra energy of transformation so I can move through any obstacles in my life. Hooray!” Most importantly, we are calling upon the powerful energy of Ganesh, the elephant headed deity, who is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles and the Lord of Beginnings.

According to Kundalini yoga, Ganesh, also referred to as Ganapataye, resides in the first chakra, called Muladhara (muladhara). Mula means "original," and adhara means "foundation." The muladhara chakra is the principal origin from which the manifesting energy of Shakti resides within each of us. When we awaken that energy, it helps us move through the Chakras with ease to activate a strong sense of self, express Divine love, communicate clearly and connect with our intuition.

This particular mantra is important because not only is it fun and catchy, but it also represents a willingness to release and move past the perceived obstacles in our lives. We can all make excuses for ourselves about why we cannot achieve our dreams, but you will have an easier time succeeding when you choose to focus on your goals rather than your challenges. So when you make the choice to chant this mantra, you are aligning yourself with your desired outcome and moving towards it with conviction.

I suggest you use this mantra when you want to clear the Chitta Vritti, or the anxious chatter of the mind. You can repeat this Mantra 108 times on your Mala beads or follow along with the video for a minute of chanting. Most importantly, make it your own, find your voice and have fun. Remember, this is your life. Don't let anything hold you back because you deserve the best.

Vijay Ganapati Mantra SadhanaThis is a Siddha Vijay Ganapati Mantra Sadhana for the fulfillment of any task, wish, desire or problem in life. Vijaya or Vijay means victory and Vijay Ganapati is that form of Ganapati which makes one victorious. This is a Sadhana which is performed by many successful persons in India in secrecy,  in their homes and is said to be a very powerful and potent Satvik Mantra Sadhana to get the blessings of Ganesha  for the successful completion of any specific task or purpose.

Vijay Ganapati Mantra

The steps to be followed are given here in a chronological order.An idol of Vijay Ganapati has to be installed in the home. The Pran Prathishta ceremony or the ritual of infusing or breathing life into the idol has to be done; if you do not know how to do this rite,  you can get it done through a priest. This has to be done on a Wednesday.

This done; the Sadhana can be commenced and the day has to be a Wednesday.

Early in morning after having a bath and wearing clean cloths sit before the idol of Ganesha; facing towards the East,

Use a red colored cotton or woolen mat to sit on.

Apply Kesar [Saffron] on the idol.

Then put a Tilak of Raktachandana [Red Sandalwood] on the forehead of the idol.

Then offer a Prasad of Jaggery by keeping it before the idol.

Then take 21 red flowers and dipping each flower in a mug of water offer it to Ganesha by keeping the flower at the feet of the idol.

While offering each and every flower state the aspiration, purpose or desire for which you are offering the flower.

Then commence chanting the mantra which is given here.

This mantra has to be chanted 125,000 times in a period of 5 days.

Then on completion of the Sadhana on the 6th day invite 5 young girls who have not reached the stage of puberty for lunch and give some kind of gift to each of them.

This successful completion of this Sadhana ensures success or victory in whatever task, wish, want, desire or problem which you have placed before Vijay Ganapati.

Ganesh Mantra Sadhana to Conceive a BoyThis is a Tantrik Ganapati Sadhana practiced to ensure the birth of a baby boy.  The Sadhana involves the consumption of certain herbs along with a specific Ganesh Mantra, to be chanted by the woman wishing to conceive a baby boy,  while practicing this Sadhana.

A mixture of the powdered seeds of the Nirgundi Herb [Vitex negundo] also known as the Sambhalu or Five-leaved chaste tree has to be consumed along with the juice of the Tribulus terrestris Herb, known in Hindi as Gokhru/Gokshura.
