BOARD POLICY CODE 5000 FORBIDDEN ITEMS
AT SCHOOL
Dear Parents, In order to enforce and promote awareness to the below policy, all students must return this letter signed by both parents and themselves. Please discuss this policy with your child, sign and return to your child’s homeroom teacher by August 13. If you have any questions, call the academic office at 645-470.
BOARD POLICY CODE 5000
FORBIDDEN ITEMS AT SCHOOL
The PAIS Board of Directors has decided that the below mentioned articles will be forbidden throughout the school grounds and in the classrooms. It has been a matter of concern for Faculty and Administration that students do not concentrate on the teaching and learning process because of these items. These items disrupt the learning process and purpose of the school and are easily lost, broken or stolen. If a student is found with a forbidden item or the forbidden item of another student, the student found and the owner of the item will both be penalized with the following steps: First time: Teachers have the obligation to retrieve the forbidden item and take it to the
office. The item will be returned to the student at the end of the day after the student copies this policy.
Second time: After the second offense, the forbidden item will be given back only to the parent
of the student.
Third time: The forbidden item will be retained in the office until the end of the semester
and/or the student will be suspended for three (3) days and the forbidden item will be returned to the parent.
Third time: Automatic three-day suspension from school. If the student continues doing the
same thing, more lengthily suspensions and possibly expulsion may occur. FORBIDDEN ITEMS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ARE:
Aerosol cans Cellular phone Beeper / Pager Any electronic audio equipment, for example: walkman, tape recorders / Discman / MP3 Laser pointers Lighters / matches Toys Trading cards Knives
Resolved by the Board of Directors March 14, 2007

SENIOR LUNCH FORM
Dear Parents, It´s customary for the Seniors to choose a place to eat lunch outside school every Friday. It’s up to them to provide the transportations (drivers, parents, and/or senior students driving their own cars). If the student is not granted permission, he/she will stay in school until it ends. Thank you. Gracias. I allow my son/daughter to go to “Senior Lunch” Doy permiso a mi hij@ para ir a “Senior Lunch” I do not allow my son/daughter to go to “Senior Lunch” No doy permiso a mi hij@ para ir a “Senior Lunch”
