2. Using the Pacojet Junior
2.1 Proper and improper useThePacojet Junior isakitchendeviceforcommercialandprivateuse.Pacotizingenableschefsto“micro-puree”fresh,deep-frozenfoodswithoutthawingintoultra-lightmousses,naturallyfreshicecreamsandsorbetsoraromaticsoups,saucesorfillings.Anyusagethatgoesbeyondthedescriptionprovidedhere,includingtheprocessingofothersubstances,cancauseinjuriesanddamage.Anyimproperusageasdefinedhereisnotpermitted!
2.2 AspectsrelatingtofoodhygieneWhileworkingwithfood,alwaysobservehygienestandardsandcomplywithanylegalstandardsconcerningfoodpreparation.Onlyeverprocessfresh,boneless,frozenproduce.Beforepacotizing,producemustbefrozenatatemperatureofbetween-18°Cand-23°Cforaperiodofatleast24hours.

ENDependingonthecontentofthefoodpreparation,thecoretemperaturemayincreaseupto-3°Cduringpacotizing.Consequently,pacotizedfoodmustbeprocessedquicklytopreventitfromspoilingandposingahealthrisk.Anyunrequiredfoodleftinsidethebeakerafterpacotizing,whetherfrozenorun-frozen,shouldbeplacedbackintothefreezerimmediately.Beforedoingso,ensurethattheprocessedfoodinsidethebeakerissmoothedflat.Onlyeverprocess(boneless)foodinthemachine.Othermaterialsareexpresslyprohibited.

• Thedeviceshouldonlybeusedbychildrenovertheageof8andpersonswithlimitedphysical,sensory,andmentalabilityiftheyhavebeeninstructedinhowtouseitandarebeingsupervised.Theymustunderstandtherisksinvolvedinusingthedevice.
• Childrenmustnotplaywiththedevice.Childrenmustalwaysbesupervisedwhencleaningthedevice.

Duringthepacotizingprocess,thevolumeofthefrozencontentinthebeakercanexpandbyupto30%.Asaresult,thefoodpreparationinthepacotizingbeakermustnotbefilledhigherthanthemaximumbeakerfillline(seeChapter“7.1Preparations”onpage 17).Tolimittheconsequencesofoverfilling,thePacojet Juniorisequippedwithacontrolandassistancefunction.TheerrorP0isemittedifthebeakerisoverfilled.Thedevicepacotizesthemixtureuptothefilllimitandthenretractstheshafttothestartposition.Theerrorisdisplayeduntilthebeakerisremoved.
Despitethepresenceofthiscontrolandassistancefunction,usersarerequiredtocomplywiththemaximumfillquantityofthepacotizingbeakeratalltimes.
7.4 AfterpacotizingWhenthedevicehasswitcheditselfoffautomatically,completethefollowingsteps:
