It has been 10 years since Angelique and I had the privilege of joining the Annique family. The 10 year journey has

been a journey of discovery, a journey of joy, laughter,

fun, challenges, some failures from

which we learned great lessons, some

spectacular successes, but most of all it has been a

journey of building relationships that last, are based on great values

and that have resulted in creating life-changing opportunities for thousands of

people across the world.The number 10 has always had great

significance in many spheres of life. The number 10 represents wholeness, humanity, power, peace

and protection. It also represents matter in harmony, love and light, the fulfilment of purpose, the completion

of a cycle, completeness in divine order and the fulfilment of destiny.

When I examine these concepts, it is clear to me that this has been our journey over the past 10 years and is what Annique has represented

to countless people over the past 47 years.The dream that started with Mrs. Theron, 47 years ago, has

resulted in the creation of life-changing opportunities, growth, development and success for everyone associated with the

Annique business and we honour her and her children, Henk, Marius and Suzette for their

contribution over many years.

I have always said that life is not a

sprint nor is it a marathon, it is in fact a relay race. We have run

the race hard and we have run the race well. What we know, believe and in which we

have great confidence, is that we have the right team in place, who understand the strategy, who are fit and ready

to run their own leg with great confidence and we are proud to be handing the baton to the future leaders who will take Annique to

greater heights.

To my partner Angelique, I thank her for her love, devotion and support during the past 10 years, without her support, we would not have achieved the

My father supports me in so many facets of my business I don’t know where to start.

He supports me with big things like renting out my office building to me below cost; doing my contracts for free; and being a business partner; to supporting me in the little things like always being available to brainstorm, plan and strategise. He also gives wonderful fair, intelligent and objective advice.

He also supports me on a personal level by cooking dinner if I’m having a busy week or letting me use his house for meetings.

I would not be able to run my business without my dad’s input and guidance.

With many women in the Annique business, we often forget about the silent heroes; those who offer support, motivation and assistance in the business and at home to ensure a well-oiled machine. With Father’s Day around the corner, we asked three Consultants how their husbands or fathers have assisted them to have a successful business and well-structured family life.

Annique’s number one Consultant, Elizma du Bois, truly appreciates her husband’s support.

I wouldn’t be able to run my Annique business without Albertyn’s support. He is my pillar of strength and keeps me

anchored. He is a very supportive husband and father and is a very involved family man. My husband keeps me calm; he is my stress reliever.

Albertyn is involved in the financial side of my business. He works with me in my office once a week so we can make decisions together. We are ultimately in the business together.

He even moved his offices so that he could be closer to my business and help me with school runs. He never misses our children’s sport activities and he also gives me the opportunity to go to my own netball practices twice a week.

My husband allows me the opportunity to spread my wings and gives me a lot of freedom. When I have to travel for business, I know everything is under control at home so I don’t have to worry.

He knows how important my business is to me and has built a relationship with most of my Consultants. Our home is always open to our Annique family.

Our holidays are planned around my Annique business. This holiday we will be going to Durban – I will be visiting my Consultants there and he will be visiting clients while our children enjoy their holiday.

Albertyn is my soulmate. The life and business I have, would not have been possible without him.

When I decided that I wanted to become an Annique Consultant

my husband and I both agreed that it would be a team effort. This isn’t just my business, it’s our business. Every

Monday evening is our Annique night; we take out our laptops and brainstorm new ideas, we catch up on admin and just generally

talk about how we can make the business grow. So in the end we do not need to find time for one another because we are working as a team.

Each of us has our strong points. I absolutely hate admin and can be very disorganised, but my husband is an accountant so admin and keeping my books,

and me, in order comes easy for him. I love being around people, talking to them and encouraging them so I make sure that business thrives, bringing in new clients and

doing all the Pamper Parties and big events that we host or are invited to. We have both grown during this journey, me trying harder to do my admin every day and my husband has

actually become a very good Consultant himself! We really enjoy having this business that we can do together.

My husband is absolutely amazing in supporting the family. If he knows I have a Pamper Party or clients that I have to see then he

organises supper, baths our baby boy and even does the dishes. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have the business I have in only seven

months of selling Annique.Renier LOVES the Annique products and I think he would list

every single product he uses, but his top five products are: the 180° Moisture Balm, Resque Camphor Cream, Resque Foot Balm, and

Stomach Tea and Honeybush Tea.

When children enter adolescence, they are especially aware of how they look – and acne is one of the

major skin concerns for them. Offer a skin care class with an acne focus: how to properly cleanse your skin; dos and don’ts for acne-prone skin; common

A great way to market your company, and the Annique products, is by hosting an exhibition. Rather than overwhelming potential customers with the wide range of Annique products, hold a themed exhibition. An acne exhibition would be a great event to host during the school holidays. My oncologist treated my cancer aggressively. I had to undergo four chemotherapy sessions every three weeks.

I joined Annique in November 2017 after I got divorced. I now use the Annique opportunity to meet new people and offer them the chance to use our products or to earn an additional income with the business opportunity.

How has being an Annique Consultant changed your life?

2Before becoming a Consultant, I was a stay-at-home mom. Annique has given me a new focus and the goals make me excited to go to training, and to learn and try new things.

What makes your Annique business unique/special?

I am in my 50s and want to reach out to women in the same or similar situation. So often we don’t realise that women around us suffer from loneliness or lack of energy due to life’s challenges. I would like to send out a message of hope to everybody around me.

What is your dream for your Annique business?

4I currently have four Consultants in my downline, but I want to grow my business. My goal is to be a manager by end of June to enable me to work on the 2019 Alaska overseas incentive tour. You never know, I might meet my prince charming in a foreign country.
