One of my favourite ways of

using Annique’s Resque Vapour Rub is by applying it to my

children’s and my own feet after we’ve bathed. Because the container is so big and flat, you don’t have to dig your fingers into it to remove the product for use. The container is big enough that my daughter and I can place our clean heels into the container, then just turn it around and the Resque Vapour Rub is automatically applied to our heels. We can then spread it out to the entire foot. The results are amazing. Dry and rough feet are now soft, and you will not believe how much better we sleep at night. A great tip is to apply it then put on socks so that you don’t walk it off on the

Each Consultant in her team is special to her and she believes they were meant to cross paths with each other. Everybody learns from each other, the support amongst her team members is never-ending, and you will always find plenty of fun and laughter when you spend time with them. Annemarie is pro-communication and uses a variety of ways to keep in contact with her downline, including coffee dates, one-to-one meetings, Skype, and phone calls to name only a few. Her efforts are evident in the success of her team.

Making her dream a reality

When Annemarie started out on her Annique journey, she simply wanted to spend more time with her family and go overseas. Today she can call both dreams a reality. Her youngest child is now in matric and she’s been on five overseas trips with Annique from 2012 to 2016. Annique’s products have also improved her life beyond measure after her cancer diagnosis, and they made a positive difference in her recovery and health.

Time for a new dream

After you’ve reached your goals and dreams, it’s time to create new ones. Annemarie has decided that her new dream is to build the Annique Leaders in her team and develop her Consultants so that they too can experience the financial independence that Annique offers. Annemarie and her team are focused on changing people’s lives with Annique, and their efforts are paying off. They do specific projects to help people in need and one of their special 2017 projects are Wellness Wednesdays, where they do something good for a person with an Annique product without selling.

The wonderful world of direct selling

After all Annemarie’s years in the business, direct selling still excites her. When asked about why she continues to believe in it, she said that she wakes up each morning excited about what the day will offer. Direct selling allows her to work with people, and to present them with Annique products is such an honour. Initially, she didn’t consider herself a sales person, but her belief in the product paired with her own experiences and stories showed her that she is capable of anything if she puts her mind to it.

There are a few peculiar terms every Annique Consultant needs to know as a Twitter user. After reading this article and with a little bit of practice using them yourself, you’ll get the hang of Twitter in no time!

What exactly is Twitter?

Twitter is the place to find out about

what’s happening in the world right

now, in real-time! Twitter is an online

news and social media networking

service where users post and interact

with each other through tweets. As a

user, you have the opportunity to follow

people and other users can follow you.

Users who follow you on Twitter can be

compared to “friends” on Facebook.

What exactly is hashtag?A hashtag is any word or phrase immediately preceded by the # symbol, traditionally appearing at the end of a tweet. When you click or tap on a hashtag, you’ll see other tweets containing the same keyword or topic. All our posts on Twitter are tagged using the hashtag #Annique. Therefore, if any Twitter user clicks on the hashtag #Annique, all Annique’s posts will come up in a thread making it easy for users to find relevant Annique focussed content.

What is a Tweet?Posts on Twitter are called “tweets” and each tweet is restricted to 140 characters. You can add up to four photos in each tweet and you can also tag your friends in photos. A group of tweets following a single conversation or topic on Twitter is called a thread and is normally what happens when multiple users retweet and reply to a specific tweet or set of tweets.

What is a retweet?A “retweet” is simply a repost of another Twitter user’s tweet on your own profile to share with your own followers. Like hashtags, retweets are a follower-driven occurrence which allows people to spread discussions and content. When you retweet somebody else’s tweet, you’re essentially interacting with them and promoting what they say.

Why are retweets important?

If you tweet something amazing like a product testimonial, and a big influencer like our brand ambassador Carine

Rouse decides to retweet your post, their followers will see your tweet and they may end up retweeting you as well, or they may even end up following you! It’s the best way to get the word out about anything worth sharing to build your own engagement and to promote your Annique business.

In that way it is very similar to sharing on Facebook. The more people retweet your tweets, the more people will see what you are promoting! Ask your clients to follow you on Twitter. The more followers you have, the higher the possibility is of them retweeting your tweets, which means more people know about your Annique business.

My first two recruits were my nanny and domestic worker and my personal sales started when I walked over to the neighbours to introduce myself. 1 Why did you decide to join Annique? Please share

with us if you have a specific goal in mind for your

extra income.My Annique journey started when I met Vanessa Botha as a fellow pregnant

mommy. I had limited time and preferred to be a stay-at-home mom, but I

needed a challenge and wanted to be successful. I joined Annique with high

expectations and big dreams all while still putting my husband and daughter

first. Sales is in my DNA but with Annique it’s so much more than that: I can

change lives through my products, knowledge and the business opportunity.

3 How did your Sponsor, Vanessa Botha, help you achieve these targets? Tell us how she encouraged you and what makes her a good leader.Vanessa taught me to just keep doing what you know how to do and the results will come. She kept me motivated by reminding me of my dreams and goals and by telling me about the difficulties she had and the successes that soon followed. One day, when I was really struggling, she said: “Lizaan, none of the great Consultants are where they are today because they gave up in the

difficult times.” That stays with me every time I or one of my team members have a hard time. Vanessa’s actions speak louder than her words - she leads by example.

4 What advice and encouragement do you have for new recruits?I meet so many prospects that tell me “I’m not a salesperson” or “I don’t know anything about marketing”. What I’ve learnt is that each person has a network or skill that somebody else doesn’t have. I have good sales and marketing skills but no network, but I use what I have to make it work. I suggest reading up online in order to better understand your client’s needs and your products, and that you try to have a fresh approach to your sales, parties and facials. You have amazing potential!

5 As a new Consultant, what do you hope to achieve with your Annique business? What are your hopes and dreams?Since I heard about Annique’s travel incentive, I have been itching day and night to see the world. I want to be able to help people who are less fortunate than me. Personally, I want to be able to stand back and be proud of the example I set in life and in business. Money is important but it’s not what counts when you’re doing ‘stock take’ on your life after 80 years on earth. I believe that when you do what you love and you do it for the right reasons, the money will come

• Rooibos adds extra flavour to sauces. Dissolve stock cubes in Rooibos for an aromatic taste.

• Rooibos can be used to substitute milk or water in almost any recipe.

• Soak dried fruit overnight in cold Rooibos. There is no need to add sugar when cooking the fruit.

• Add colour to your marmalade by cooking the fruit in Rooibos.

• Dilute powdered and frozen cold drink concentrates with Rooibos instead of water.
