Facility Update: Thank you for your interest and your participation in both the Budget and Facility Congregation Meetings. If you missed them, the materials presented are available at the Info Table today. Next steps are: close on the properties (completed this past week!), determine and complete the survey work to split off the house, do the work needed to list the property, and work with CopperRock to determine a new rendering for Phase 1 that is in the $2-2.5M range (the next meeting to work on this is tomorrow evening, Feb. 22). !Facility Task Force members include: Mark Christensen, Jon DenOuden, Jon Huizenga, Jeanne Maher, Don Porritt, Richard Spengler, Kelly Tuit, and Jeff Yonker. !The Board of Elders conferred on the subject of who would list the house when it comes time to put it up for sale in light of the fact that the person providing the loan to River Rock for the land is a realtor. The Board decided to approve that person as listing realtor and to make that a condition of the loan. The Board feels the flexibility and terms of the loan are generous and in the best interests of the church. At the proper time, the home will be listed by Denny Betten of Remax of Grand Rapids. !
