Parklands is easy to find. By road it is just 4 miles from junction 8 of the

M11 and by train, Stansted station is under 1 hour from London. Then it is

just a short taxi ride to the estate.

BUSINESS ACCOMMODATION

The four principal reception rooms are suited to a variety of corporate

layouts. From formal boardroom to informal gatherings or theatre-style

arrangements to break-out spaces - all are possible under one roof!

The Banqueting Hall benefits from good acoustics. The internal

architecture of the house also enables several different activities to be

in operation simultaneously - for example: a formal meeting could be

conducted in the Billiard Room while a discussion forum would be

possible in the Drawing Room.

EXTENSIVE LAWNS AND GARDENS

The Drawing Room and Pavilion windows overlook our large lawned area.

If the weather is good, and the activity suited, this is a useful addition to

the interior spaces. Team building exercises, launch parties or elegant

summer picnics can be situated here.

Can we arrange activities on site?

Parklands is suitable for many activities.

Do you provide flip charts, pads and pencils for conferences?

Yes, we do.

Do you have projector and screen?

Yes, we can provide these and place them within any of the main

reception rooms.

Can we have internet access?

Yes, all downstairs reception rooms have access to the internet.

What formations can we have for conferences or meetings?

The Banqueting Hall and Pavilion can be set up in theatre-style, conference

style or any alternative layout you require.

What are the arrangements for music?

There is a sound system available in the house for CDs, should live music

be required you are welcome to source this yourself, we are more than

happy to recommend and suggest companies for you.

LOCATION

By road

(approaching via the M11)

Exit the M11 at Junction 8 onto the slip road signed for the A120 Hertford

and at the roundabout again follow the signs for the A120 Hertford. After

a short distance you will arrive at another roundabout. Go straight across

(still on the A120) and continue for about one mile to a further roundabout.

Take the 3rd exit, signed B1383 Newport. Continue on this road

for about 5 miles, passing through Stansted Mountfitchet and Ugley, to

arrive at Quendon village. After you have left the village look out for, and

turn left at, signs for Parklands. This will take you through large black gates

and onto our driveway.

Other directions

We are located north of Bishop’s Stortford. If travelling on the A120, exit

at the roundabout signposted B1383 Newport. Then take directions via

Stansted Mountfitchet above.

By train

Newport is the nearest station, about 2 miles away from where a taxi will

take about 5 minutes. The station is on the London (Liverpool Street) to

By air

We are about 15 minutes from Stansted airport.
