Nineteen year old Bradley Smith embarks on his 2010 World Championship winning campaign with the full support and backing of Oxford Products and their customers. Everybody connected with Oxford Products is totally committed to supporting the Oxfordshire teenager as he strives to become the fi rst British rider to win a solo Grand Prix World title since the late great Barry Sheene 33 year ago. Last year Smith, with the backing of Oxford Products, came close to re-writing the history books that have been devoid of British success for almost three decades. He eventually fi nished second in the 125 cc World Championship behind his Aspar team-mate Julian Simon.

Smith won two grands prix and secured six successive podium fi nishes at the end of the season to fi nish second in the World Championship. The last British solo rider to fi nish second in any World Championship class was Sheene in 1978. In 2010 with the continued backing of Oxford Products, Smith remains in the highly competitive 125 cc class with the Spanish-based Aspar team. is sticking to linings; you endure rather than enjoy. The EDZ range has been developed specifically for the motorcyclist who may be wearing close

The EDZ mid layer is made from a lightweight performance Microfleece which has good thermal properties and can be worn comfortably under a motorcycle jacket. Ideally these are worn in conjunction with a base layer for efficient layering. Zip neck styling with contrast flat seams that look good enough to wear as an every day sweater. This is a durable fabric that is easy to live with and should maintain its appearance after many washes.

A medium weight 200g base layer made from the finest quality merino wool, making it soft and comfortable to wear. Wool is an excellent material for regulating temperature and absorbing moisture whilst remaining breathable. It’s also very durable, making these garments machine washable and shrink resistant.

Windproof Innershell

The innershell is an ultra lightweight and compact windproof jacket that can be worn as a windproof liner under motorcycle gear. The advantage this has over conventional wind stopper type materials is that it is extremely thin and many times more breathable. Weighing only a few grams these are small enough to go under the seat of even a minimalist sports bike so that when it gets cool it will prevent you freezing on the way home.

As these are so compact and light they are ideal for touring too and can be used as a light windcheater when you arrive at your destination. The EDZ mid layer is made from a lightweight performance Microfleece which has good thermal properties and can be worn comfortably under a motorcycle jacket. Ideally these are worn in conjunction with a base layer for efficient layering. Zip neck styling with contrast flat seams that look good enough to wear as an every day sweater. This is a durable fabric that is easy to live with and should maintain its appearance after many washes.

A medium weight 200g base layer made from the finest quality merino wool, making it soft and comfortable to wear. Wool is an excellent material for regulating temperature and absorbing moisture whilst remaining breathable. It’s also very durable, making these garments machine washable and shrink resistant.

According to Police statistics, 50% of bikes are stolen by the opportunist or “Joy-rider”. Incredibly, they also estimate that 50% of riders do not lock their machines. Reduce the risk of theft by following these simple steps;

• Buy the best lock you can afford and always use it• Alarms can be very effective but they are only really effective used with a lock• If you have a garage, always use it and remember to lock the bike and set the alarm - otherwise cover your bike when outside• When parking your bike try to avoid using the same parking spot every day and lock your bike to a secure immovable object• Never leave your lock resting on the ground and always lock it as tight to your bike as possible - this makes it much more difficult for thieves to attack• Remember to maintain your lock. Keep it free from dirt, and oil moving parts regularly. If your lock stops working, you won’t be able to lock your bike
