From producers Whoopi Goldberg

and Stage entertainment (Hairspray, High School Musical)

the smash hit musical comedy Sister Act is coming to the

new theatre, direct from its record-breaking run

at the london palladium.

When disco diva deloris van cartier witnesses a murder, she

is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure

she won’t be found - a convent! disguised as a nun she quickly

finds fans amongst her fellow ‘sisters’ but makes the wrong

impression on the convent’s strict Mother Superior. but when

she turns her attention to the church’s off-key choir, helping the

nuns to find their true voices and breathing new life into the

rundown neighbourhood, her cover could be blown for good. With

the gang giving chase, is time running out for deloris? or have

they underestimated the power of her new found Sisterhood?

based on the smash hit movie of the same name, this fabulous,

family-friendly, feel-good show is packed with songs inspired by

Motown, funk, soul and disco. More than a million people saw

Sister Act in the West end and now, as the habit hits the

road in this multi-million pound production, you too can

see why musical audiences fell in love with the funniest and

funkiest nun on the run, and her heavenly sequinned sisters!

The producers of West Side Story and Guys and Dolls present

the breathtaking and lavish Lincoln Center Theater production of

South Pacific. This international hit landmark production which reinvented

the classic musical swept the 2008 Tony Awards, played to sold-out

houses on Broadway, and is currently selling out across America.

Considered one of the finest musicals ever written, the score includes

Some Enchanted Evening, I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta

My Hair and There is Nothin’ Like a Dame.

Set on a tropical island during World War II, this is the sweeping romantic

story of two couples, threatened by the realities of war and by their own

prejudices. Its portrayal of Americans stationed in an alien culture in

wartime is as relevant today as when it first thrilled audiences.

With a cast of 40 and a live orchestra of 25, this is a once in a lifetime

opportunity to witness one of the greatest musicals of all time,

as the critics agree, ‘thIS IS a ShOw yOU wIll REMEMBER FOREVER.’

Since January 1st 2010 our

theatres have been retaining

£1 per ticket towards a

restoration levy and as such

i am delighted to confirm

the improvements being

made every year are now

accelerating as a result

of this extremely valuable

revenue stream.

as reported in our last

brochure, in September we

renovated the stalls seating

& increased the legroom,

laid new carpet (as well as

in the main entrance foyer)

and decorated the stalls

auditorium. this was in

addition to a number of other

improvements made for our

customers in 2010.

by the end of February our

valued customers will enjoy

a new entrance directly off

george St when we complete

some modifications to our box

office. our customers will also

be able to use a second and

new bar / kiosk for the circle

foyer; this service point will

increase speed of service

for our circle ticket holders

wishing to purchase

refreshments & snacks

in this area.

in February we placed

orders such that a major

refurbishment of our stalls

bar & toilets can take place

throughout March. this

scheme, in excess of £150k,

will create a warm & appealing

space to enjoy a drink pre &

post show as well as offering a

new vip lounge within it.

in april we enter into a new

financial year and as such

we hope to take advance

of a new capital budget in

addition to the restoration

levy; we are currently

planning to renovate the

circle auditorium seats,

lay new carpet in the circle

auditorium & circle foyer,
