Ovidio, also known as Publius

Ovidius Naso (43 BC – AD 17) was

the name of a well known Roman

poet, best know for his collections

of love poetry. His work in�uenced

authors such as Shakespeare &

Dante. Ovidio was born in

Sulmona, Italy, which is also the

hometown of Franco, the owner of

Ovidio Ristorante. Because of

hometown, he & his wife Virginia

decided to bring the Italian culture

and their family recipes with them

to the Central Valley. Opening his

restaurant in 1979, Ovidio Ristorante

has been locally owned & operated

for over 30 years. Managed by their

son Rocco, the Paolilli family is

happy to host you for any

occassion. We are so glad that

you decided to join us!
