Introduction

15/12/10 DAWCO 2

The DCM Group, a privately-owned enterprise, brings together a family of trade-specific companies under one common management and ownership group. The member companies, although autonomous, have always operated in a close partnership, building off of each other’s strengths. DCM Integrated Solutions Inc. was incorporated in the spring of 2008. This business was originally created as a Western Canadian business office to represent the interests of several well established companies headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. It has now grown into an autonomous Western Canadian leader in industrial construction services. In 2015, Dawcolectric, who has been operating for over 65 years, unites with Solimec and DL Instrumentation to create DAWCO, a new company focused on leveraging our high-performing multidisciplinary teams. The Group structure leads to great agility and flexibility with regards to staffing. It reinforces our capacity to deliver tailored premium quality solutions, at a competitive price, and in a safe and secure work environment. In summary, our construction management expertise combined with our skilled workforce make us an exceptional candidate to provide complete industrial and commercial construction services.

Health and Safety

15/12/10 DAWCO 11

We have developed a Health and Safety management approach that is believed to be industry-

leading:

• We are proactive: our primary objective is to mitigate the risks by eliminating dangers at the very

source. We capture all leading and lagging indicators to benchmark our performance.

• We constantly improve: our program is continuously evaluated. Policies and procedures are

monitored, communicated (information sessions, toolbox meetings, training, etc.), and audited on a

regular basis. We hold an Annual Best Practices symposium to ensure our workers excel in safety.

• We are all responsible: our top down safety culture ultimately results in all our employees taking

personal responsibility for the application of the HSE Program. Accountability applies to all levels of

the organization.

• We are process-oriented: our health and safety management systems are certified to ISO 9001

and COR certified in 5 provinces in Canada. For each new project, we are putting in place precise

prevention and control methods, including:

• Codes of practice

• Safe work practices

• Project-specific risk analysis

• Project Hazard and Risk Analysis tool (JHA and FLHA)

• Workforce-driven Behavior Based Safety program

• Emergency Response Plan

• Field Competency Verification and Training
