1. Steps for configuring Outlook 2007 for IMAP Profile.

1. Select Control Panel from Settings from Start Menu.

2. Select Mail from the Control Panel

3. Click on Show Profiles in the displayed screen.

4. Click on Add to create new Profile

5. Enter the Profile name and click ok.

6. Below displayed screen shot is displayed, select manually configure server settings and click on next

button.

7. Select Internet E-mail and click on next button.

8. Enter Details as shown below and click on more settings button.

Example:

User Information:

Your name: Test User

Email Address: [email protected]

Server Information:

Incoming Mail Server: imap.syndicatebank.co.in

Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.syndicatebank.co.in

Logon Information:

User Name: [email protected]

9. Clicking on more settings button would open below screen shot.

10. Check the box next to Purge items when switching folders while online. With this any messages

marked for deletion will be deleted if you open a different folder.

11. Choose Outgoing server tab and select my outgoing server requires authentication and also enable

use same settings as my incoming mail server as shown in below screen shot and click on OK button.

12. To check whether all the settings are configured correctly or not, you can click on test account

settings.

13. It performs below displayed tests and shows status as completed. If anything fails, that indicate

wrong configuration of settings. Please check the settings once again based on the failed test.

14. Click on Finish button to finish the installation.

15. If there are multiple profiles configured, then select prompt for a profile to be used and click ok.

16. Click on outlook 2007. It will prompt the user to choose a profile. Select the profile that has been

created and click on ok.

5. How to Archive mail data to a local PST on Outlook 2007 for IMAP

Profile

1. Login to IMAP Profile.

2. Choose options under Tools in the menu bar.

3. Click on other Tab and click Auto archive button.

4. Below Window is displayed. Enable check mark next to Run auto archive.

5. Modify the options as per the individual needs. Below we have choose Auto archive to run for

every 7 days and to download items older than 7 days to the local PST which was created by

default when you open the IMAP profile for the first time.

Data can be archived to any other custom PST folder also.

6. How to Archive mail data to a local on Outlook 2010 PST for IMAP

Profile

1. Login to your IMAP Profile.

2. Click File in Menu and click on options.

3. Below Window is displayed.

4. Click on Advanced and then click on Auto Archive Settings button.

5. Below Screen is displayed. Enable Run Auto archive option.

6. Modify the options as per the individual needs. Below we have choose Auto archive to run for

Note: Please take the backup of Handset before configuring.

IPhone

1. On I phone, select the Mail, Contacts, Calendars icon from the Home screen on yourdevice.

2. Click Add Account

3.On the following screen select Exchange.

4. Enter in your full email address and password and then select Next.

5. Enter your full email address at the beginning.

Enter server name as: mobile.syndicatebank.co.in

Domain: syndicatebank.co.in

Username: [email protected]

6 .Click to Advance Settings and Disable use SSL

7. Your device will then start "Checking Incoming Server Settings" and in the next screen select

1. On the Android phone, select the Email icon from the Home screen on your device.

2. Enter in your full email address and password and then select Next. On the following options screen

select Exchange.

Disable use SSL, the "Use Secure Connection (SSL)" is unchecked.

Enter the Port 80and select next
