What comes to your mind when hearing the word planets?

What is a planet? Which planets do you know? Those planets was named after

whom? Why?whom? Why? Which is the position of Earth

in the solar system? Which is the most bright object

in the sky?

Mercury is the smallest and innermost planet in the Solar System.

His orbital period around the Sun is about 88 days and is the shortest of any

other planet in the Solar System.

C. Science & LanguageActivity 5

In my space-travels I discover a new planet. I describe with a few worlds how it looks like.

____________________________________Travelling we arrived at the Galaxy “Rainbow’, where we discovered that there was 8 colorful planets. The one was red, the other green, one yellow, one blue ,one purple , a light blue and an orange. Among them there was a planet with a lot of rainbows, wells, beautiful castles with o lot of colors and small ponds. In this planet the water in the summer has the flavor of banana, while in the summer the flavor of vanilla.

I’d like to be Jupiter because he is the biggest God in the Olympus and

also the biggest planet as well.

I would like to be Saturn because it is a very beautifull planet . He has a lot of

rings that decorate him. He is one of the bigger planets. He took his name

from an also very bog God , the Saturn.

of banana, while in the summer the flavor of vanilla. There live flying unicorns with designs on them and colorful birds and people with colored hair. This planet is a dream planet for me!

I discovered the planet “Unok” and it is very verybeautiful. It has grass, soil, flowers, trees ,water and mountains, that are crystal-clear but….. I wonder if I bring life to this planet, it is certain that the people, they will definitely get it dirty and made him a dump instead of a planet.

His name is “Artemis”. This planet is very big. It has very small stars that decorates him. This planet is very shinny and bright and it is close to the Sun.

Copernicus was a polish cosmographer and astronomer who proposed a heliocentric

representation of “Sun-centred,” system—derived from the Greek helios, meaning “Sun.”

Copernicus’s theory had important consequences for later thinkers of the scientific

revolution, including such major figures as Galileo, Kepler, Descartes, and Newton.
