healing. She is also asking for prayers for her
husband’s daughter, Sara, who is in Regional
Hospital with Covid. She has been there for about
one week already.

her the last few weeks. The reports she received
recently were all good!
The Ladies Bible Class will begin meeting again on
September 7. We will gather at MCL at 11:00 a.m. for lunch
and a devotional. On September 21, we will be studying
Lesson 10, Days 1 and 2, from the workbook “Women
Opening the Word: Impossible,” by Casandra Martin. We
plan to finish this book before starting on another
curriculum. The class meets each month on the first and
third Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. at Eastside. All ladies are
welcome!
The Wabash Valley Christian
Bowling League is looking for new
teams for fun and fellowship each
Tuesday starting on September 14.
They meet at 7:00 p.m. at Vigo Bowl in Terre Haute. The cost is $12 per person per week, which
includes three games and shoe rental. Please contact Tracy
Sutliff to register a team of four by August 31:
[email protected], or call 812-466-6766.
Starting in September, we will be scheduling greeters to
hand out the bulletins, as well as someone to work at the
Guest Connection desk. The schedule will be made
enlisting people who have volunteered for these positions
in the past. If you would rather not be put on the schedule
for this, or if you would like your name added to the
volunteer list, please let Jennifer know by e-mailing or
calling the office: [email protected], or
812-235-9322.
