The Pratham Gala continues to be one of the premier events on the Houston

social scene. Attendees include civic-minded leaders from the business

community as well as influential philanthropists, all with a personal commitment

to improving child literacy in India. Last's year event drew more than 900 guests

and raised over $4.5 million.

The 2020 Houston Gala will commemorate 25 years of transformative impact by

ABOUT USPratham USA is a volunteer-driven association aimed at bringing about lasting change in

India through education reform. It is the recipient of nine consecutive four-star ratings

from Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator.

Pratham Houston is one of the organization’s 14 US chapters, with a membership of more

than 5,000 supporters who are dedicated to advancing Pratham’s mission of “every child

in school and learning well."
