St Francis College is starting up an adventure club which will involve various activities. The idea is to create opportunities for the children to become enthusiastic about outdoor activities.

This is not compulsory and is entirely up to the children to get involved or not.

We will be doing activities such as: cycling, paddling, trail running, tubing, hiking, orientation, park run, nippers lifesaving, beach activities (soccer, surfing, fishing etc).

The plan is also to get involved with the paddling club on Wednesday evenings. Most of the activities will take place after school on a Friday, park runs on Saturday and nippers lifesaving on the Sunday with the beach sports. This will not happen every week, but will be spaced out in order not to tire out the children.

You will be informed about the activities long in advance. I hope to see excited children joining the Otter Adventure Club as awards will be given out to those involved.

This Friday will be the first adventure activity!! Mountain biking after school until 2pm. Make sure to bring all the necessary equipment (No helmets. No ride).
