OTAGOCONNECT - First time setup

Computer Requirements- Internet access (broadband recommended)- Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3 or Safari 2- Adobe Flash Player 10.1- Headset with microphone recommended for talking during the

meetings

A few days before your first meeting we recommend you make sure your audio and video devices are working correctly.

Make sure your headphones (or speakers), microphone and web camera (if you have one) are plugged in before you start.

Go to: http://connect.otago.ac.nz/setup and log in - you can log in as a Guest if you donʼt have a University of Otago username and password. Once youʼre logged in follow the on-screen instructions.

You may be asked to install the Adobe Connect Add-in - this is only required for meeting presenters and hosts. Youʼre not required to install it, but if you want to you can.

OTAGOCONNECT - Quick Start

Go to:https://connect.otago.ac.nz

Log in with your University username and passwordFind the meeting

you want and click Open

If your paper uses Blackboard If your paper doesnʼt use Blackboard

Go to:http://blackboard.otago.ac.nz and log in with your University username and password

Find Otago Connect in your paperʼs menu and click to open it

Find the meeting you want and click its name to open it
