•Children must be in school by 8:25 a.m. Gates close at 8:30a.m.

•First time late in a month-Teacher’s comment

•Third time late in a month- Parent call and child is sent back home.

PUNCTUALITY

ABSENCE•75% attendance is compulsory.

•Communication through diary if absent less than 3 days.

•More than 3 days- Letter to be written on an A4 sheet and sent in an envelope along with the medical certificate(if applicable).

•All correspondence to be addressed to the Vice Principal.

•We do not grant leave.

•No application of mehendi.

•Nails to be clipped regularly.

• Cardigans not to be worn underneath school uniform. A white slip/vest to be worn by all students. No colouredslips/vests allowed.

•Hair to be tied neatly. Boys to have regular haircut.

•No bringing money to school unless specified.

Our Clubs• The School Offers 23 clubs to choose from which are provided in the school

diary.

• These clubs will be held on 1st and 2nd Saturday of every month

• Attendance is compulsory for these clubs

• Clubs will be allotted according to the capacity and availability of seats

• Parents are requested to accept the school’s guidance on allotting clubs to the children as per their skill and competence

• Once a child is allotted a club , no change will be entertained.

• Our Principal, Ms. Anjana Saha, received the CBSE AWARD TO TEACHER for the year 2015.She was felicitated in New Delhi by the HRD Minister ,Govt. of India in September 2016.

• Ms. N. Singh and Ms. S.Panth , two senior Hindi teachers received the RAMAWATAR GUPT SHIKSHAK SAMMAN from Sanmarg in September 2016.

• Mr. Atindra Choudhury, a senior teacher for Fashion Designing was awarded the Best Teacher Award by IIHM in collaboration with Telegraph T2.

• Mahadevi Birla World Academy received the prestigious “The Telegraph School Of The Year Award” for the year 2015-2016 in November 2016.
