Dear Friends,
It is a moment of pride and pleasure to invite you for the "Gestosis International Conference 2016" to be
held in Nashik on 4 to 6 March 2016.
Even today, conditions like preeclampsia, eclampsia, diabetes etc. complicating pregnancy contribute
significantly to maternal mortality and morbidity world over.
Gestosis International is an organisation that is dedicated to the study of complicated pregnancies.
We have tried to put together a scientific program that covers the practical aspects as well as recent
advances in these fields.
We are fortunate to have two of the most eminent personalities in the obstetric field in the name of Sir
Arulkumaran and Prof. Odendaal amongst us .
Full day workshops on "Labor Ward Protocols" by Fernandez Hospital Team and "Towards Excellence in
Obstetric Ultrasound and Doppler" by Fetal Medicine Foundation will certainly help in providing better
patient care.
Our organising team has put together a brilliant array of renowned international and national faculty.
Nashik, a city of vineyards, awaits you for fun and frolic.
We look forward to welcome you at the "Gestosis International Conference 2016".

Since its inception, Sula has rapidly established itself as India's Leading Premium Wine Producer, helping spark a wine revolution that
has seen consumption grow at 25% annually and several new wineries come up in the Nashik area. In November 2002, Wine
Spectator - the world's No.1 wine magazine - did a five-page feature on Sula, a proud first for an Indian winery.
The winery and vineyards are open to the public for educational
tours, and the beautiful Tasting Room invites visitors to enjoy
their favourite Sula wines amidst spectacular views of the
vineyards and surrounding lakes and hills.
SULA VINEYARDS
Nashik, once known only as a city of pilgrimage on the banks of the river
Godavari, has today come a long way from being a sleepy little town to a hustling
metropolitan city. Rapid growth in the industrial, educational and health sector
along with its close proximity to Mumbai and Pune has made it one of the most
sought of locations.
From the heady fragrance of religion and spirituality to the giddy intoxication of wine Nashik has it all. Not only does it
attract the senior citizens for a visit but also the exuberant youth. The salubrious climate, the amazing history and
affordability makes Nashik a must see destination. Just as the religious minded people are lured to Nashik by the ancient
temples and Pandavleni caves others come to sample the exquisite wines of the 28 wineries in and around Nashik. No
wonder Nashik has been awarded the title of Wine Capital of India. Once only a weekend getaway Nashik today with its
world class education and excellent affordable medical care is attracting more and more people to settle down here.
A modern city seeped in history with its strong foundation of religion and spirituality is what describes the Nashik of today.
TRIMBAKESHWAR : 28 kms from
Nashik Trimbakeshwar is one of the 12 jyotirlingas dedicated to lord Shiva and as the source of the Godavari River. At the Kushavarta Teertha, devotees usually dip themselves into the waters and purify themselves of all sins before entering the temple.
SHIRDI : 90 kms from Nashik is the abode
of one of India's most revered saint - Sai
Baba of Shirdi. Sai Baba preached
tolerance towards all religions and the
message of universal brotherhood. Every
activity at Shirdi revolves around the vast
temple complex dedicated to Sai Baba.
GARGOTI MUSEUM : is the landmark
of its kind in the Asian Region to exhibit
exquisite mineral collection. It displays the
aesthetic beauty of minerals of the mother
earth. It is the only museum in the country
which houses such a vast collection of
crystalline minerals & is owned privately.

Goddess Saptashringi devi has been resting
on the top of Saptashring mountain which
has seven peaks.
The entire journey to the temple is through
a ghat of 11 km. One has to climb 472 steps
to reach the top.
PANDAV LENI : (Trirashmi Caves and
other variations) are a group of 24 caves
carved between the 3rd century BC and the
2nd century AD, representing the Hinayana
Buddhist caves. Most of the caves are
Viharas except for the 18th cave which is a
Chaitya. Very near to hotel Express Inn for
short early morning trek.
DHAMMA GIRI (Vipassana centre ): is in the town of Igatpuri 45 km away from
Nashik, on Mumbai-Agra Highway.
It is one of the world’s largest meditation
centres and the main centre for Vipassana,
which means to see things as they really
are, is one of India's most ancient
techniques of meditation. It was taught
more than 2500 years ago as a universal
remedy for universal ills, an Art of Living.
