1) INTRODUCTION:Our   proposed   site   of   HOTEL   SVD   situated   at   SRIKAKULAM   in  

ANDHRA   PRADESH   is   a   running   restaurant   since   1994   (18years).   Wepropose  to  study  the  problem  due  to  lack  of  semi  skilled  labor  prevalentsince   2005   in   the   organization   leading   to   loss   of   business   revenue,customers  and  which  is  deterring  business  expansion  models.

MOTIVATION:Due   to   the   persistent   problem   of   lack   of   semi   skill   labor   the  

organization  is  not  able  cater  to  the  patrons.  To  keep  the  business  afloatin   the   increasingly  competitive  market   the  business  has   to  expand,  eventhough  the  resources  are  available  for  expansion  the  intrinsic  problem  oflack  labor  is  keeping  the  organization  from  achieving  its  glory  of  being  amarket  leader.

SCOPE  AND  BOUNDRY:Our   scope   of   study   is   to   analyze   the   present   scenario   (losses  

incurred)   and   suggest   applicable   measures   with   minimum   financialallotment  and  efficient  utilization  of  available  and  procurable  man  powerto  help  address  this  fundamental  intrinsic  issue.

2) STATEMENT:Study  and  analysis  of  how  “Scarcity  of  Human  Resources”  is  leading  to  theloss  of  revenue  and  adversely  affecting  the  business  at  a  restaurant  thereby  suggesting  the  counter  measures.

RECOMMENDATIONS,

As!we!are!dealing!with!“Human!Factor”!we!need!to!concede!that!there!are!some!factors!that!

are!going!to!be! in! favor!of!Humane!resource!management!whereas!the!project’s!survivability!

depends! on! the! fact! of! the! financial! factors! as! well! as! the! people! perception! because! it! is!

effectively!a!B!to!C!venture!so!time!and!again!there! is!going!to!be!a!tradeBoff!between!these!

three! factors!we! aim! at!minimizing! the! loss! of! each! to! the!minimum! and! combine! the! best!

efforts!of!the!three.!In!these!lines!we!believe!following!are!some!of!the!recommendations!!!!!!

• Make%the%work%force%efficient%

The! first! blunt! recommendation! comes! from! the! internal! source! that! can! be! put! in! the!

simplest!way!as!“Make%the%work%force%efficient”.!We!!understand!that!our!sole!motto!is!to!

cater!to!as!many!customers!as!possible,!all!the!recommendation!are!biased!to!one!principal!

thinking!(!which!will!we!tackled!later)!and!here!are!some!of!the!reasons!in!brief!as!to!why!

we!recommend!it!!!!!!!

! It! calls! for!minimum! change! in! the! adjustment! of! chain! of! commands!which!

can!be!put!in!other!words!as!the!compatibility!issue.!

! There!is!no!denying!that!that!because!the!work!force!present!there!definitely!

has!a!continual!commitment!a! little!push!combined!with!the!dexterity!of! the!

time,!which!is!the!most!crowed,!there!is!maximum!demand!of,!let’s!assume!meal!

type! “A”! and! minimum! demand! of! meal! type! “B”(generally! the! snacks! and!

breakfast!fall!in!this!category!)!.!It!is!possible%that%the%cooks%who%are%not%facing%orders%can%be%easily%utilized%for%the%semiskilled%labor% like%taking%the%order%for%food%serving%etc.!

Why,Not,Simply,Hire,New,Workers,

There!can!be!question!as!to!why!we!have!not!recommended!that!increase!that!simply!number!

of! workers,! because! it! seems! the!most! logical! one! besides! we! also! concede! that! there! is! a!

considerable!amount!of!gap!between!the!sales!and!purchase!that!the!company!is!making!so!it!

can!afford!to!hire!sure!but!here!we%are%treating%new%recruits%as%an%opportunity%cost.!

" We!have!noticed!that!there!has!been!no!actual!employee!turn!out!ratio!(expect!

for! the! ones! that! have! left! solely! for! their! old! age)! so! there! is! good! team!

building!of!long!years!!and!they!may!not!like!someone!new!in!the!midst!of!them!
