Military armed men will stand at the gates in order to make the scenario look serious, dangerous and professional. The Scientist will be dragged out of the boot by the military armed guards and dragged in a room for questioning. The scientist will get killed by a single punch by the military chief officer whilst sitting in an empty room on a chair as failed to answer questions. Movement The news reporter will wear professional clothes to look high authority and important. The zombies will be dressed in dark clothing, blood stained clothes and their faces will have fake blood make up on.The scientist will wear more casual clothes so that he contrasts against the military guards and looks less important than them, the scientist will have a geeky look to him by wearing chinos and a plain top. And he will look inferior to them.

lighting;will be fairly dull but in different scenes it will be dark to connote an unsettling feeling towards the audience. The setting will be at an quiet abandoned base to create mystery and make it more scary when the scene of the zombies is shot.Facial expressions;Facial expressions will be serious and unsettling. Especially the filming of the zombies their facial expressions will be surreal and scary to frighten the audience as this is what the target audience want out of an action zombie horror opening.Colours;Dark earthy colours will be used. No bright colours because this opening is not for a film which is about happiness. It is about violence, action, death and survival.Props;Props such as fake blood, guns and weapons will be used to create the themes; violence, gore, death, danger and fear.

Editing;I will use a lot of fast straight cuts and some dissolves to create an enigma and show that this film has a lot of action in it.Camera shots;I will use long shots to show the setting at the opening of the opening. Close ups to make the audience feels as uncomfortable as the scientist feels when being questioned. Long shots to show the different levels of authority.Camera movement;I intend on using a pan around the zombies and

as they come closer it will become scarier for the audience and have them gripping themselves. I will use Zoom ins and Zoom outs to show peoples facial expressions in tense situations.

Mood and Tone(Sound)

The mood of the opening will be very grabbing and there will be a lot of suspense in it. I will choose a soundtrack which relates to the atmosphere I want to portray. A track which picks up pace and creates suspension.
