Open Adobe Premiere Elements

Go to the ‘Start’ button in the corner of the screen

Once the menu comes up, either search ‘Adobe’ or if you hover the mouse over ‘all programs’, a series of folders and programs will appear. Go to the folder

‘Multimedia’ and Adobe Premiere Elements will be there

Page 3: Opening a project

Once you click on

‘Elements’ this box will

appear in the centre of the screen. Click

on ‘New Project’

Adobe will continue to open a new project. It will open a big

grey screen (like this) which will then appear to stop working

Page 4: Opening a project

It’s waiting for you to click on the file menu

And choose ‘New project’

Again.

At this point the box will show in the

centre of the screen like this.

Call it what you want: Andy’s project, The

Hunt For Red October, Ouisdfgho. (I don’t care what

you call it as long as you know what it is.)

NOTE: Where you save it is

important!

Don’t just hit ‘Enter’! This will save it probably in your H-Drive. There is not enough room there and it will,

most likely, crash. Save it in the M-Drive of the computer. Then you can press ‘OK’

Once you are at a page that looks like this, you’re good to edit.
