+For this generation
They have never feared a nuclear war. "The Day After" is a pill tothemnot a movie.
They never had a polio shot, and likely, do not know what it is.
The expression "you sound like a broken record" means nothing tothem.
They have always had an answering machine. Most have never seen a TV set with only 13 channels, nor have
they seen a black & white TV.
They have always had cable. The Titanic was found? I thought we always knew where it was.

have changed

Knowledge is certainly needed.
Manufacturers are looking for ever-
more sophisticated workers who can
operate multiple types of machinesand can troubleshoot problemswithout supervision, says Vince Leone,
44, who oversees CNC operators at a
Teleflex (TFX) factory in Kenosha.
The days of guys putting the part in,closing the door, and pushing a button are a
thing of the past. he says.

+Its about the questions.
Harrisburg and St. Paul became statecapitols with a similar geographicfeature being key to its importance. If
capitals were chosen in those statestoday, would these cities still win?
For Friday: Pick two more Capitols.
Historically why were they chosen? Dothey still represent the state today?
