Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is truly risen! Alleluia! Christ ascended into heaven and now he sits at the right, glorious hand of the Father to intercede for us the gift of the Holy Spirit. We know that the season of Advent is a time of waiting, the waiting of the Messiah and of our salvation. Christ went into the world and brought the Good News of the Father’s love. Now it is the season of the waiting of the Holy Spirit. To bear witness of this truth Christ willingly accepted to suffer on the Cross, to die and to rise again from death on the third day. This is not enough. Now he ascended into heaven and he continues his mission, that one of interceding for us at the Father as our High, Eternal Priest, to receive as a gift the Holy Spirit, whom he promised. The coming of the Holy Spirit will accomplish the Father’s design, which is the salva-tion of each man. The Holy Spirit gives the Christ’s resur-rection to one who welcomes him in faith, so the Jesus’ word accomplishes: I remain in you and you remain in me. If Christ, the Word of the living God, remains in us, he overcomes evil, the world of darkness and falsehood. Christ lives risen in us. We live with him. With, through and in him we accomplish our Christian mission, that is to announce to the world the Good News of the Gospel, the Resurrection of Jesus. As it was real our interior death be-cause our incapacity to love God and our neighborhood, now it is real that we have the possibility to love God and the neighborhood because the Spirit of God abides in us. One time more we can experience that God works in us, weak and frail persons. Exactly this allows us to bless the name of God, because we belong to him and it is he who works in us. Without him we can do nothing. It is he who gives us the strength – the Holy Spirit – to hold him, like branch attached to vine. Fulfilled of joy for the Jesus’ promise we remain waiting that the Paschal Mystery of our Lord Jesus Christ accomplishes in us with the gift of the Holy Spirit. We need that his light shines upon the way of our life, that his strength supports our weakness, that his consolation accompanies us following Christ in the way of the cross until to reach the eternal reward.Christ is risen! Alleluia!

Una reflexion dominical

¡Aleluya! ¡Cristo ha resucitado! ¡Cristo ha resucitado! ¡Aleluya! ¡Aleluya!
