SHOW ETIQUETTE It shall be the duty and obligation of the show giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer, or any participant at an event is not subject to indignities. The Conformation Show Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. (See Section 19.7)

CKC NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE The Non-Member Participation Fee applies to dogs wholly owned by a resident of Canada who is not a member of the CKC; it is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. (For a Membership application, please go to www.ckc.ca under CKC Services and Forms On-Line). The Non-Member Participation Fee is fee paid in the calendar year (January – December) in which the dog achieved its title and/or titles.

Please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency
rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted; however, they are to
be payable in Canadian funds. If you send a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount
of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Please do not mark cheques “Payable in
Canadian Funds” or “At Par”. They will not be cleared by the banks. To simplify the process, we urge that
you purchase bank drafts or money orders payable in Canadian funds. Your understanding and

We welcome all exhibitors and spectators, including persons with disabilities.
If you require accommodation of a disability, please make your accommodation known to the club in
advance. Please contact the Superintendent by the closing date to ensure that we can do our best to
accommodate your needs.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME COMPETITION
We will be celebrating on the Saturday of our show. We encourage all exhibitors to wear costumes.
There will be prizes for the Best Costumes
GENERAL INFORMATION
Access to the building will be available Thursday - FROM 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm The building will be open from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Judging will not commence prior to 8:00 am The show precincts will be a 150-foot (45m) perimeter from the exterior of the building. Limited number of catalogues will be available at the show. Exhibitor are requested to keep their grooming and crating areas clean and tidy. If space is at a
premium, exhibitors must remove exercise pens if requested by the Show Superintendent or designate.
Dogs not entered in these shows will NOT be allowed within the precincts of the show. The Show Superintendent will be in full charge of the show, governed by CKC rules. If, because of riot, civil disturbance, or other acts beyond the controls of the management, it is
impossible to open or complete the show or trial, no refund of Entry Fees will be made. Diana Edwards Show Services and Trillium Dog Fanciers will use care and diligence for the welfare
of all dogs, exhibitors and spectators, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of accident or misfortunes however caused.
Dogs need only to arrive 15 minutes before scheduled judging time and will be excused from each show when not required for further judging. Waiting for dogs will not be possible and handlers with several breeds must arrange for alternate handlers if judging times for their breeds conflict.
GENERAL ENTRY INFORMATION
To comply with instructions issued by the Canadian Kennel Club, we will be unable to accept entries
reaching the Show Secretary after the official closing date as published in this premium list. No entry will be accepted unless all particulars called for on the entry form are shown thereon.
INCOMPLETE ENTRIES WILL BE RETURNED. NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY ENTRY FEES.
TELEPHONE ENTRIES CANNOT BE ACCEPTED. It is your responsibility to verify the receipt of any electronic entries prior to the advertised closing
date. DIANA EDWARDS SHOW SERVICES, reserves the right to refuse any entry, subject to CKC Dog
Show Rules. Identification cards and judging schedule will be mailed / emailed as soon as possible after entries
close. Conflicts between Dog Show Rules and the New Breed Standards. The Board of Directors of the
CKC, has ruled that where a conflict arises between the Breed Standards and the Dog Show Rules that the Dog Show Rules will take precedence.
Exhibitors must abide by errors made in entering their dogs regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. Changes or cancellation of any entry after closing date is prohibited.
In the event that the dog is absent, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, disqualified, or barred from competition by action of the bench Committee, no entry fees will be refunded.
To avoid noise and confusion, there will be no individual dogs called to the ring by loudspeaker. Delays waiting for dogs will not be possible and handlers with several breeds must arrange for alternate handlers if judging times for their breeds conflict.
Only dogs eligible for registration with CKC may enter this show and trial.
The Trillium Dog Fanciers reserves the right to refuse any entries, subject to CKC rules.

SECTION 1: A dog awarded WINNERS at a championship show held under these Dog Show Rules shall
be credited with a number of championship points (ranging from 0 to 5) and the determination of the
number of championship points to be credited to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as provided
hereunder.

To determine the numbers of championship points earned by a dog awarded WINNERS total all the dogs

set forth above. The new system provides for additional points (provided that the dog has defeated
another as listed hereunder:

There are limited water and electrical hookups available $ 25.00 CDN/USD per day - with or without hook-
ups. Water will only be available if the weather allows the water to be turned on, otherwise there will be
availability to fill up. The camping director will be in complete control of the trailer parking and your co-
operation is appreciated
ACCOMMODATIONS
The following Motel/Hotels may accept dogs. Some of them will require a deposit or room-cleaning fee.
Please verify acceptance of dogs in rooms when make reservations and respect Motel/Hotel property.
If you are planning on leaving your dogs crated in your room, please do not leave them alone as some
dogs have a tendency to voice their disapproval to this situation and to the other guests.

south of Lindsay. Turn Right onto Angeline Street / county Rd. 4 (first traffic light). Turn right onto the
Fairgrounds.
From Highway 401/Kingston - Go west on Highway 401 to Highway 35/115 exit. Take Highway 35/115
north to the Highway 35 exit. Take the Highway 35 exit to Lindsay. Turn left (west) onto Highway 7, just
south of Lindsay. Turn right onto Angeline Street / County Road 4 (first traffic light). Turn right into the

From Peterborough - Go west on Highway 7 through Omemee to Lindsay. Turn right onto Angeline Street
