Testimonials“On behalf of the National Institutes Health (NIH) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program Office and SBIR/STTR Community, thank you for being the liaison to the convention center and hotel accommodations for the 15th Annual NIH SBIR/STTR Conference in Sioux Falls, SD.
The conference was a huge success and it was a pleasure to work with you and the SFCVB. Your coordination of the Sioux Falls Convention Center; Sioux Falls Sheraton Hotel; and the two overflow properties Ramada Hotel & Suites, and the Best
Western PLUS Ramkota was a tremendous asset and was a huge factor for NIH to hold our conference in Sioux Falls.”
—Matthew E. Portnoy, Ph.D. - Program Coordinator, NIH SBIR/STTR
Health Professions Network is truly thankful for the graciousness of Sioux Falls CVB for hosting our May 2014 event. Wow, HPN attendees were absolutely amazed at the Healthcare institutions in Sioux Falls.
Thank you Sioux Falls CVB for arranging fantastic tours of Sanford Research and Avera Health. Oh, and the meals were fabulous! Sioux Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau and everyone involved with this event truly provided us with a great sense of all Sioux Falls has to offer so our attendees can return with their organizations.
—Valarie Coyle - Meetings Director, Alliance of Cardiovascular Professionals
Sioux Falls, as the host city, impressed our delegates immediately, from the opening night dinner on stage at the beautiful Washington Pavilion to the reception the following night at the Falls Overlook Café for all delegates.
During the conference itself, Sioux Falls was able to showcase a first-class Convention Center and the Sheraton Hotel, but also sightseeing to a local winery, the Outdoor Campus and Sertoma Butterfly House.
Our meeting planners left Sioux Falls with a great impression. Many commented how the Sioux Falls CVB and partners completely exceeded their expectations.

Save time and money by utilizing a new complimentary customized app for your next event in Sioux Falls!
A new meeting, convention and event web-based app can be customized for groups who book their event in Sioux Falls. Customization includes the event/company logo, colors, agenda, speakers, notes, attendees, around town, maps, event updates, social and FAQ. Users will also be able to sign up to receive the Sioux Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) e-newsletter and be connected to the CVB via social media.
The app will not be available through the App Store or Google Play. The CVB will purchase the use of a domain extension (or link) to be used by the group in the pre-event marketing to all attendees for download. This allows for better cross-device compatibility.
Getting started is easy. Contact your CVB Sales Manager with a logo, the name of the web domain desired, colors for design, social media handles and any information about the conference or sporting event.
