HEADER Congratulations on your very successful Club Rushes, enticing meetings, and first couple of events! I hope that you all have started off the year strong with good attendance and a passion for service. After adjusting to having service events and school, it is now time to think of the next milestone: Fall Rally! I know that we are all very excited, barely being able to contain ourselves when we think of all the spirit, fun, and friends on that day, but there are other things to think about as well! Sometimes, we forget a main portion of Fall Rally; it is when we make our major donation to Pediatric Trauma Prevention. Our goal for this year is to donate $1,500, and I know that we can do it. With all our time spent at car washes, fundraising with Division 4 West lanyards, and other fundraisers, we will meet this goal. Although we haven't made it there yet, there still is a lot of time, so do your best the next couple of weeks to fundraise! When we donate all the money we've raised, our Fall Rally experience can only skyrocket. So, Dragons, don't lose sight of what's ahead! Have a happy Halloween! Fall rally Letters from the Presidents

Samantha Fajardo : PResident, Edison Hey Dragons! Along with our Divisional fundraisers, Edison Key Club has been busily fundraising for our goal of $250 for Pediatric Trauma Prevention. One of our fundraisers has been at Sky High. For every person that bought an hour to jump and brought our flyer we received $3. It was a great way for returning members to bond with new members. Also, I noticed that my spare change can add up so during each meeting we have been collecting any spare change that our members have. Lastly, we will be selling our Edison Key Club T-Shirts for $7.

Jessica Le: President, Fountain Valley This year for Fall Rally, we have over 55 members from Fountain Valley attending. We are very proud to support Division 4 West and all that it entails. We have reached our goals of raising $300 for PTP and hope that our contribution helps Division 4 West be one of the highest fundraising groups there. Our goal is to build friendships and character. We will be attending spirit nights and will be meeting outside of school in preparation for this event. Through the time and effort we share together, our club will become much stronger. Through this event, I hope our members are inspired to make a difference through Key Club and reach the goals they set for themselves. Fall Rally is aimed for our club to bond and have fun, but more importantly, I'll strive to have everyone feel welcomed and involved. They will learn the significance of Key Club and what it takes to truly make a change.

Hey Key Clubbers! Huntington Beach High School is planning different fundraisers to raise at least $200 for Pediatric Trauma Program. One of our fundraisers is hosting a couple of food nights at Pick Up Stix and Cherry On Top, for 20% of the proceeds will go back to PTP. We are also fundraising by potentially hosting a bake sale at our school with baked goods, such as cookies and brownies for only a few dollars. We are planning on making Huntington Beach Key Club T-Shirts and selling them to our own members to promote our Key Club and Key Club as a whole.

Dakota Le: President, Huntington Beach

I’m super stoked to attend Fall Rally, but of course as any contributor to the Key Club organization I have goals that I wish both my club and myself to achieve. This includes understanding the creativity that goes into planning the chants and the different forms of representing their division, in this case DIVISION 4 West. I hope that through attending Fall Rally the members from my school will fully understand what it means to be a 4 West Dragon. I also hope that my members will meet new people from other members as well as myself. To attain these goals that I’ve set, I will definitely go out there will a positive and determined attitude and ready for anything.

Steven Cortez: President, Godinez Fundamental

Fall Rally Letters from the Presidents

What up D4 West Dragons! As you know, the infamous Fall Rally South is coming up in the horizon and we're definitely bringing our A-game this year! Marina Key Club has been fundraising in the past couple of months towards a goal of $300 to the Pediatric Trauma Program, along with bringing over 30 members to Fall Rally for a louder crowd and an even bigger roar! We're most definitely getting that Spirit Stick this year, and buying out some LTGs on the way! Get ready 4 West, cause we're going to show all the other divisions who runs CNH and we're going in hard!

Andrew Aikawa: PResident, Mater Dei Our goal for fall rally is to raise 69 dollars. We plan on hosting a dance with Segerstrom, our partner club, as well as a social and carwash. In the future, we also want to sell burritos at school to fundraise. We collect a little money from recycling. We are also looking to our sponsors for donations as well as local restaurants to for other fundraising opportunities. A lot of people have expressed that we should have a bake sale to fundraise which we plan on doing.

Thang Nguyen: PResident, Ocean View Ocean View is currently working to fundraise for PTP by selling lanyards and is working with Marina in the club buddy system.

Wilbur Nguyen: PResident, Segerstrom Fundamental My goals for fall rally is to get my club to my club to look swagged out. We are hoping to have our own club apparel. I am trying to get $500 to donate to ptp. Also we are going to help the division get the spirit stick. We have 61 people going to fall rally. We are going to bring the spirit!

Alvin Le: PResident, MArina

Saddleback’s Key Club is trying to come up with a fundraiser for our club. We are planning to sell food during lunch on Halloween Day. Club Rush was about 2 weeks ago, we got about more than 75 members signed up plus the members who are already in the club. We got members to go to Fall Rally. We have more people going this year compared to the past years. We are going to make our club flag soon. A member in the club has an idea of how she wants to design it and will assist the officers next week. We got a co-adviser for our club as well last week.
