Dear fellow car buffs,

Welcome back to the Toronto auction, Canada’s top classic car event for the past 19 years. I’m proud to have been producing this event since 1990 and to have been responsible for its growth under the RM Classic Cars’ brand since 1992.

This past September I decided to branch back out on my own and have once again assumed sole interest in the Toronto spring and fall sales with the launch of my newest endeavour - Collector Car Productions, a new and separate entity from RM Classic Cars Inc.

Having been a partner at RM for 17 years has been a fabulous experience and if I could turn back the clock, I wouldn’t change a thing. Rob Myers has been a great inspiration to me over the years and I know that RM will continue to be a leader in the industry specializing in investment-grade vintage motor cars. I wish Rob, his partners and staff nothing but the best.

My strength as a car specialist has always been in 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s main stream cars and I will continue to use this experience to develop Collector Car Productions’ business model.

In addition to continuing to hold the Toronto auctions, I will explore additional opportunities for growth. The presentation of the Al Webster collection on October 16-17 in Bradford West Gwillimbury, Ontario - Collector Car Productions inaugural event, serves as a prime example of this strategy.

This weekend the fall Toronto Classic Car Auction continues in its tradition of presenting Canada’s biggest and best classic car event, showcasing approximately 400 fabulous automobiles and an outstanding assortment of nostalgia and memorabilia.

1953 MOnARCH COnveRTIBleford Motor Company produced 232 Monarch convertibles in ’53 and only six are known to survive. this beautiful banff blue convertible has undergone a complete off-frame restoration that was completed in 2008. during the restoration the engine, transmission and all mechanical components were rebuilt and a new fabric top was installed. All of the chrome was replated and the stainless was polished. Many nos components were used, including the rare and correct dual spotlights and the stunning trunk crowned emblem. ford Motor Company of Canada has authenticated the car. it was sold new in ontario where it remained until 1963 when it was moved to Atlantic Canada and has been there since.

1946 CADIllAC SeRIeS 62 HOT ROD SeDAneTTenicknamed radillac, this hot rod was built by duke brown, Canada’s premier builder, in 1998 and has since been stored in a climate-controlled garage when it is not at shows or being enjoyed. during the restoration it was dropped three inches, decked, slammed and shaved using only new or rebuilt parts and started with a rust-free utah car. this Cadillac could not be built today for under $100K. it has won styling and workmanship awards at the national level which is a testament to the workmanship performed on this sedanette. truly a neat hot rod ready to be enjoyed.

1937 fORD 5 WInDOW COuPeflathead V8 with dual exhaust dual, factory radio, mohair interior, banjo steering wheel and stainless exhaust deflectors. the desirable coupe offered here is reported to run and drive very well.

1957 fORD THunDeRBIRDthis 1957 ford thunderbird was the recipient of a ground up restoration in the fall of 2007. during the restoration the 312 engine was rebuilt as was the carburetor and the following new parts were installed: front suspension, coil springs, radiator, electric fan, brakes and drums, tires, rims and exhaust system. new gas tank, new carpet, new soft cloth soft-top. the bumpers were rechromed and several pieces in engine compartment were chrome plated. the car was originally turquoise blue and came from California. Car comes with hard top and stand, the headliner is in fair condition but the hard top needs to be repainted. it is an excellent driver.

1962 DODGe DART 9-PASSenGeR WAGOnwhen was the last time you’ve seen one of these examples? this dry California car has had only one repaint since new and is optioned with power steering, power seat, air conditioning and factory radio. powered by the famous 413 cid V8 and a 3-speed push button 727 heavy-duty automatic transmission. nice upgrades include a front disc brake conversion and dual exhaust, with new radial tires and custom 16 inch wheels. this rare wagon drives as good as it looks.

1961 CHevROleT IMPAlA SS BuBBle-TOPoriginal California rust free resto-mod with a 409 cu. in. balanced & blueprinted engine rated at 425 horsepower backed by a four-speed M-21 Muncie transmission with hurst Competition-plus shifter. the heads have been ported and polished and it has been fitted with twin 500cfm edelbrock endurashine carburetors and intake as well as hooker ceramic-coated headers. it is the recipient of a frame-off nut and bolt restoration with fatman fabrication dropped front spindles on Air ride technologies airbag suspension. 1967 JAGuAR XKe ROADSTeRfinished in british racing green with a lighter green leather interior, this matching numbers example was restored in 2008. All the mechanicals were completely refurbished, a new interior and top fitted, all wiring refurbished and the gauges rebuilt and recalibrated as needed. this car carries a Jaguar daimler heritage trust certificate.

1981 MeRCeDeS-BenZ 380Sl ROADSTeRthis beautiful vehicle is in original condition, has never needed restoration, features original paint and exhibits good mechanical characteristics. it has never seen snow or rain and has always been garage-kept. this car is fully equipped including the AMg sport package.

2002 CADIllAC DHSthis one-owner example was purchased new by a lawyer from nova scotia who meticulously maintained this luxury automobile and kept a detailed accounting of all service records etc. with just 98,000 km’s, it performs extremely well and is loaded with Cadillac options. selling at no reserVe!

1975 CHevROleT CORveTTethis car was displayed in the dealer showroom until 1978 and subsequently stored for 22 years. it is equipped with a 350 cu. in. V8, automatic, air conditioning and a canvas top that can take the place of the t-tops. it has had new exhaust, rad and rad support, window weather stripping and master cylinder.

1965 fORD MuSTAnG GT fASTBACKthis factory gt, in original silversmoke gray with black pony interior was sold new at Mills ford in Anaheim California and in 1976 was subsequently sold in l.A. to Al brunette iii who was just discharged from the navy. Al brought the car back to his home in rochester nY and sold it in 1981 to richard sine, a Mustang collector and restorer. the current owner purchased it in 2006 and performed a concourse-quality rotisserie restoration that included the rebuilding of the 289 V8, the installation of a high-performance hydraulic cam and a shelby quick steering kit. the car is equipped with a 4 speed top-loader transmission, styled steel wheels, traction-lock 4:11 rear end, dual redline tires and KYb shocks.

1941 PACKARD 110 COnveRTIBlethis car was sold in March, 1941 by simonsen and schactmeyer of santa Monica, California. it was brought to Vancouver b.C. in 1955. it changed hands a few times before the current owner bought it from a gentleman from Mission, b.C. in June 1989. the 282 ci 100 hp, 6 cylinder engine had been rebuilt and the overdrive transmission was installed. it was driven over a few summers and then began the restoration in 1992, when the chassis was sandblasted and painted. the restoration took another 16 years to complete. the body was painted and polished, and the chassis was assembled in 2005. the restoration was completed in June 2008. every nut, bolt, washer and steel bracket was bead blasted and nickel plated. Any hardware replaced was stainless steel. the dash has been woodgrained to match the original. the interior trim is polished nickel plate. the interior was replaced, along with the top and glass. All the deluxe stainless trim has been repaired and polished. the fuel tank was flushed, acid dipped and epoxy coated in and out. the clock and radio work. the wiring harness was replaced, and all electrical equipment was restored. the brakes and suspension are all new, along with all lines and hoses. the car needs some chrome plating to be show quality. it is all straight and in good condition otherwise. the car was built to drive and enjoy. some chrome wire wheels and radial tires would make this the best looking, and driving, packard around. this wonderful packard is going to make one lucky new owner very happy as it is being sold at no reserVe!

1931 fORD HOT RODthis rod was built on the west coast over 50 years ago when and where hot rodding originated. this is an all-steel example , not something built out of plastic or on-line ordered pieces, true craftsmanship. it has since been treated to a high dollar complete restoration leaving most original components as they were. with an early flat head ford V8, an offenhauser intake with three stromberg 97’s for breathing, this roadster is loaded with speed equipment, dressed up chrome and stainless throughout. A number of interesting and unique additions are the ‘wood’ style front head lights, a duesenberg reverse wind tach, an Auburn dash, a stanley steamer wood wheel and many unique options throughout. it has an excellent show quality paint finish in deep burgundy metallic and tasteful flame striping on the removable engine side covers and hood. the interior upholstery is extremely well stitched in red leather as are the door panels. the trunk area is highly restored as well in keeping with the overall excellence in quality throughout. this exceptional and unique rod with great history would make a great addition to any collection.



1949 CADIllAC SeRIeS 62 COnveRTIBleA high quality older restoration on one of the most desirable year and model post-war Cadillac. beautifully finished in Madeira Maroon with matching tan haartz cloth top with red piping and a complementary biscuit leather interior. previous long term ownership by a very involved AACA and Cadillac Club member. Also features electric wipers and an electrically operated cowl vent. A stainless steel fuel cell holds plenty of gas for a cruise and tastefully applied louvers on the hood add a nostalgic look to the car as well as adding cooling air to the engine compartment. Custom frenched taillights and custom formed tubular bumpers give a nice chrome sparkle for all the extra chrome removed when this coupe was nosed, decked and shaved. look closely!! this coupe’s roof is professionally chopped about 2 inches.
