Transition

Golden traces of falling leaves,

collect on the pathway before us

as God opens the door to a new season,

and invites Autumn to enter…

He calls the trees to release their burden

of so many months of vibrant green,

now changing into shades of yellow,

blazing orange and radiant reds,

as they don the costume of Fall…

Just as He guides nature to change,

at first hesitantly, but then with endeavor,

so he leads us into our spiritual transition…

As trees shed their bright coverings,

and are open to the winds, and coming winter,

so we too are open to where God will lead us,

as we follow Jesus, give Him the Glory,

and live our lives for Him…

He is our God…our leader…our guide,

and like Autumn, our transition, awaits His call…

WORSHIP NIGHT IN AMERICA

On Tuesday, October 25, at 6:00 PM, East Woods is

sponsoring "Worship Night in America - An Evening of

Unity and Prayer for Our Country" at the Kiggins

Theatre in downtown Vancouver. Worship Night in

America will be simulcast nationwide on this one night with

the hope of bringing together people from all backgrounds

and beliefs to unite around a single purpose: to pray for our

country. The event features the film of a pre-recorded

concert held at Madison Square Garden that includes musical

performances from Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Phil

Wickham, Tasha Cobb, Matt Maher, and Kim Walker Smith,

along with presentations from pastors Max Lucado and Louie

Giglio.
