AGREEMENT FOR JUDGING

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 22nd day of May by and between the 32nd District Agricultural an agency of the State of California, through its duly appointed, qualified and acting Secretary-Manager, party of the first part, hereinafter called the State, and Allen Pettey party of the second part, hereinafter called the Judge. WITNESSETH: That the Judge for and in consideration of the covenants, conditions, agreements, stipulations of the State hereinafter expressed, does hereby agree to furnish to the State services, as follows: Judging the Breeding Sheep Show at the 2019 OC Fair of said Association. Services to be provided by the Judge on Wednesday, July 24, 12:00 p.m. ($250.00) and Thursday, July 25, 11:30 a.m. ($250.00) Total payment for this contract will be $724.96 which includes all expenses (i.e. $500.00 judging fee, $224.96 airfare/airport parking fee, meals, and incidentals). OC Fair and Event Center will arrange for three nights’ lodging. Payment to be provided upon completion of judging. The following provisions constitute a part of this agreement:

1. The state hereby agrees to pay for the services at the times, in the manner and for the consideration, herein expressed.

2. The parties hereto agree that the Judge, and any agents and employees of the Judge, in the performance of this agreement, shall act in an independent capacity and not as officers or employees or agents of the State of California.

3. Notwithstanding anything herein contained to the contrary, this agreement may be terminated and the provisions of this agreement may be altered, changed or amended, by mutual consent of the parties hereto.

4. It is mutually understood and agreed that no alteration or variation of the terms of this agreement shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by the parties hereto, and that no oral understandings or agreements not incorporated herein, and no alterations or variations of the terms hereof unless made in writing between the parties hereto shall be binding on any of the parties hereto.

AGREEMENT FOR JUDGING

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 1st day of May by and between the 32nd District Agricultural of the State of California, through its duly appointed, qualified and acting Secretary-Manager, party of the first part, hereinafter called the State, and Rory White party of the second part, hereinafter called the Judge. WITNESSETH: That the Judge for and in consideration of the covenants, conditions, agreements, stipulations of the State hereinafter expressed, does hereby agree to furnish to the State services, as follows: Judging the Open Dairy Cattle Show at the 2019 OC Fair of said Association. Services to be provided by the Judge on the following date:

Thursday, July 18, Open Dairy Cattle Show, 11:00 a.m. ($175.00) Total payment for this contract will be $568.24 which includes all expenses (i.e. $175.00 judging fee, $393.24 round trip mileage, meals, and incentives.) OC Fair and Event Center will arrange for one night’s lodging. Payment to be provided upon completion of judging.

The following provisions constitute a part of this agreement:
