GAL Sync Issue: AAD Filter was changed and caused AD accounts to be deleted
Per the Prime vendor day after report. two departments “made
a change to AAD Directory Sync on 05/03 and the change was
from a Join to a Provision, which purged the mailboxes.”
There was no bug in the Sync code.
Directory Sync is a powerful tool it does exactly what you tell it
to do.

Users getting credential prompts and unable to access mail from Outlook.
Outlook client authentication setting resolved the issue. Migration team is reviewing potential impact of pre migration steps as a follow-up
