NEWBORN BATHING PROCEDURE

1. Check Chart2. Wash Hands3. Identify Infant4. Take vital signs and weigh baby with clothes removed.

5. Wash baby in bassinet6. Start washing face (no soap) then scalp (with soap)

7. Wash and dry arms then torso & legs.

8. Check cord – keep dry.
