FAQsIs there a minimum number of GPs that need to be confirmed to attend in order to request a Lunch and Learn session?
Yes, our consultants give their time for free to provide these lectures so we do ask in return that there are a minimum of 6 GPs confirmed in order for Nuffield Health to provide the session.
I want to request a particular consultant but they aren’t available on the day we can receive teaching. Does that mean I need to choose an alternative consultant?
If there isn’t another consultant who covers the same topic then we would contact the consultant you requested to see if they can accommodate the date of the session you requested. We may suggest another consultant who we know can cover the same topic you have requested.
We have more than an hour free to receive education; can we have more than one speaker?
As long as you have more than 6 GPs confirmed, we are happy to provide a full morning or afternoon session.
What time of day should I request?
We normally run our sessions over lunchtime from 1pm until 2pm. If you wish to request a talk at a different time we will liaise with the consultant to see if they can accommodate this.
How long will the consultant speak for?
The session will last approximately an hour with some time for Q&A included.
If you have any further questions please contact Bethan Owen:

Testimonials
I have found that the clinical sessions provided by The Nuffield Hospital have been perfect for us at our surgery. These are interesting and informal talks full of useful information and helpful clinical pointers. looking forward to the next one..!
DrTonyRiley(Partner,RosebankHealth)
Back pain is something we commonly see and commonly refer to physio for. It was useful to have a talk from physio on how they assess and manage patients once we have referred them. The talk was delivered to the practice nurses, doctors and trainees at our practice and the talk was at the right level for the staff present. It was useful to know what services are available from the physio department at the Nuffield and how to access these services. For example, I never knew that patients seen by them get a months free gym membership.
RebeccaHeginbotham(Partner,CheltenhamRoadSurgery)
