    II. METHODOLOGY

    1. Arrange the Yakult Bottles in Cylindrical-Shape formation in

the center of the 20 Plastic Basin.

2.) Apply masking tape to the Yakult Bottles and surround it by chicken wires to form the cylinder-

    shape cooking stand.

3.) Apply aluminum tape or masking tape to hold the chicken wire to the

    Yakult Bottles.

4.) Calibrate the focal point of the mirrors under the sun facing the desired point-target of materials to

be heated. Measure the shape and size of the laminated film support frame for the mirrors also.

5.) Apply masking tape to the 20 Plastic Basin that will temporarily guide you in putting the mirror

to the basin and making it align to each other.

6.) Put glue to the bottom edges of the mirrors, laminated film support frame, and plastic basin. Let it

    dry using a blower (optional).

    III. DISCUSSION/EXPLANATION

The project aims to construct a working Parabolic Solar Cooker that is worth less than or equal to

    P1000 only.

The Parabolic Solar Cooker has four mirrors, two mirrors each parallel to each other at their

bottom edges with an angular focal point to transfer heat by reflection to the main targets which is

the Microwave Friendly Plastic Container with egg and Ziploc Bag with water.

The containers has different thickness. The Microwave Friendly Plastic Container is thicker than

its counterpart. The results showed that the Ziploc Bag with water has faster increase of temperature

in a short period of time than the Microwave Friendly Plastic Container with egg.
