Congress of Clubs

The Kingwood Interior Design Student Chapter was represented at the Kingwood Congress of Clubs’

Fall Congressional Assembly, held on Friday, October 25th. Each registered student organization has a

club representative that reports on its various activities, membership, community service, as well as

missions and goals. This event was sponsored by the Office of Student Life and the Student

Government Association. Congress of Clubs is a formal accountability assembly, and participation

plays a part in determining the funding of the student clubs. Our representative at the Fall Assembly

was our Vice President, Karen Reade. She reported on the Interior Design Club's outstanding

membership and participation in club functions. Our upcoming food drive to benefit the Good

Shepherd Ministries was also announced. – Karen Reade, Vice President.

Tansel Coskun

Two of our fellow students put their imagination to

work and entered this light switch design

competition. What a great way to have fun and get

involved with the industry.

Angela’s and Tansel’s designs are fabulous! Great

job!

November is a month for being Thankful! We

count our blessings and reflect on important

aspects of our lives. As we move forward in

this busy time of year, it is important to

remember those that are less fortunate.

Giving back is the defining factor that

determines whether our lives have meaning

and purpose. Our Food Drive is an easy way for

you to help others. While giving one item is

not much, one item from each of our Interior

Design students can make a huge impact. Let’s

all work together to make a difference. Let’s

make our Interior Design Spirit shine! I am very

THANKFUL to be a part of such a wonderful

group of people.
