c. Barb questioned whether we are duplicating work? d. Gregg mentioned that the whole point of a COPS committee is the
necessity of having a police officer present. If there isn’t, it is no longer a COPS group.
e. Acronym – Community Oriented Policing Services o Mary mentioned she has tried to bring together a committee
in Centre Wellington, but very difficult o Barb wondered what we can do to help? o Mary suggested that it could be an identity issue o Gregg mentioned the younger demographic is very difficult
to engage o Pasquale asked what kind of promotion Puslinch COPS does?
§ Glenna – Paid advertisement on Community Sign, Display in Aberfoyle Market and articles in The Pioneer
f. Brad suggested for clarity, we need to have the same name. Especially with all of the traction Safe Communities is having.
