This booklet contains details of all road closures and parking restrictions for the MEN’S 10K which takes place on 17th June 2018.

To the residents and businesses of GLASGOWPlease find enclosed in this booklet details of all road closures and parking restrictions for the Men’s 10K which takes place on Sunday 17th June 2018.The event organisers in association with the local authority have striven to minimise the disruptive impact of the event to allow those directly affected to carry on their daily routine with as little inconvenience as possible.Please note all businesses on route will be open as usual despite road closuresPlease take note of the information that relates to your area. Taxi and Drop Off point for pedestrians looking to access the Crowne Plaza or the SEC. Drop off is available here all day. Once pedestrians are dropped off there will be a crossing point to provide walking access to the Crowne Plaza and SEC.

Runner’s Route

A

Marshalled access is available for vehicles to use this crossing point to gain direct access to and from the Crowne Plaza. No access will be given between 09:55AM and 10:30AM as runners will be in this area. Please plan your departure from this area in consideration of these times where vehicle movement will be prohibited. For access please use the Taxi and Drop Off point which is available all day.

Access to SEC & Hydro Car ParkThe best way to access the SEC & Hydro Car Park is via the M8 exit 19. You can also access the car park by travelling east along Stobcross Road.Please note that Broomielaw Road will be closed on the westbound carriageway at Anderston Quay from 06:00–11:00.Access across the Clyde Arc will be possible until 09:45am and then closed for the runners passing. Please ensure that you travel before this time or select an alternative route. It will reopen as soon as the final runners have passed at around 11:00am.Taxi’s will be permitted access to drop off at the venue via the north loop of Congress Road as per the map.Please allow extra time for your journey on the morning of the event. All roads will reopen by 11:00am at the latest.

Access to St Enoch CentreThe St Enoch Centre is open from 10am and can be accessed via Victoria Bridge and Glasgow Bridge to exit.
