APPROVAL:

The design, composition, construction andperformance of the meter type(s) identified hereinhave been evaluated in accordance with regulationsand specifications established under the Electricityand Gas Inspection Act. Approval is hereby grantedaccordingly pursuant to subsection 9(4) of the saidAct.

The sealing, marking, installation, use and manner ofuse of meters are subject to inspection in accordancewith regulations and specifications established underthe Electricity and Gas Inspection Act. The sealingand marking requirements are set forth inspecifications established pursuant to section 18 of theElectricity and Gas Inspection Regulations.Installation and use requirements are set forth inspecifications established pursuant to section 12 of theRegulations. Verification of conformity is required inaddition to this approval for all metering devicesexcepting instrument transformers. Inquiriesregarding inspection and verification should beaddressed to the local inspection office of IndustryCanada.

APPROBATION:

La conception, la composition, la construction et lerendement du(des) type(s) de compteurs identifié(s)ci-dessus, ayant fait l’objet d’une évaluationconformément au Règlement et aux prescriptionsétablis aux termes de la Loi sur l’inspection del’électricité et du gaz, la présente approbation estaccordée en application du paragraphe 9(4) de la diteLoi.

Le scellage, l’installation, le marquage, et l’utilisationdes compteurs sont soumis à l’inspectionconformément au Règlement et aux prescriptionsétablis aux termes de la Loi sur l’inspection del’électricité et du gaz. Les exigences de scellage et demarquage sont définies dans les prescriptions établiesen vertu de l’article 18 du Règlement sur l’inspectionde l’électricité et du gaz. Les exigences d’installationet d’utilisation sont définies dans les prescriptionsétablies en vertu de l’article 12 du dit règlement. Saufdans les cas des transformateurs de mesure, unevérification de conformité est requise. Toute questionsur l’inspection et la vérification de conformité doitêtre adressée au bureau local d’Industrie Canada.
