Professional Experience Teen Program and WildNight Supervisor – Cheyenne Mountain Zoo February 2015-Present Create annual budget and breakdown for both programs including revenue, expenses and wages in a break even department To develop life long passions in youth with activities that tie youth directly to the natural world Coordinate, lead, and execute outdoor adventure and volunteer trips in the Southwest Region such as camping, hiking, rock climbing, rafting, ice climbing, hiking, and watercraft. Plan, coordinate, budget, and lead international conservation trips for teenagers to Costa Rica, Central America Communicate with parents and families of over 90 teenagers annually. Identify safety guidelines and demonstrate the ability to make strong decisions regarding the welfare of all participants Immerse youth in the belief they can be active stewards of the environment Recruit, hire, train, and manage 15 seasonal staff, part time staff, and interns, and volunteers to facilitate programs Plan, develop and evaluate year-round overnight programs and constantly upgrading curriculum EdVenture Program Mentor - Cheyenne Mountain Zoo December 2014-February 2015 Teach and facilitate education programs for an audience age range of 5 years to 60 years old.
