...a total of eight homes were purchased over the years, serving the parish in several capacities until being moved or demolished in the mid and late 1950s?
There were two house on Galbraith Rd. at the corner of La Boiteaux; three houses on La Boiteaux where the convent sits now; and three houses on Grace Ave. where the new wing of the school sits. The buildings were eventually moved or torn down to make room for the final addition to the School, the new Convent, and the current Church and Rectory.
Over the years these buildings were used as the original Church and then the Rectory, homes for

Do you have photos? We are looking for photos that would show any of these houses, even if in the background, as they stood around the property or while they were being demolished or moved. St. MM’s Parish Labor Day Weekend Festival Discontinued
For those who may not be aware, the parish’s annual Labor Day Weekend Festival
has been discontinued.
Due to the annual struggles against Mother Nature and the fact that the current battalion
of volunteers who show up to plan it, set it up and tear it down each year cannot physically do it anymore, it was decided that other possible
fundraisers be considered.
Parish Council is currently accepting ideas for a new fundraising event to replace the revenue of
the Festival. Contact any member of Council or the Parish Office if you have an idea.
